I had a check engine light come on coming into Salt Lake City and called every Cummins repair shop in town and it would be at least a week before anyone
could look at it. We were heading to St. George anyway and I called Southwest and they said if we could get it to them they would look at it right away. We
headed down the road and when we arrived we parked in the street and they came right out and looked at it, put the computer on it and found a EGR valve
that had gone bad. They found one at another shop and we were out the door in less than two hours.

It has worked great since then. It was on a new motor coach and was under warranty.

Replaced turbo on diesel engine on our Class A motorhome.

The replaced turbo is working; my issue is with the attitude of owner and length of time to do repair -- 2 weeks. I feel I was taken advantage of as
a female RV owner. I was towed here after breakdown in Hurricane, UT on Friday night. Shop is closed Saturday and Sunday so I met with
mechanic 'Chris' early Monday morning (7/1). He did a computer analysis and told me turbo was bad; however when owner, Doug, came in he
informed me shop could not work on problem until 7/3. Late on 7/5 he 'analyzed' problem again and reports he ordered replacement parts,
expecting part by Monday or Tuesday; part apparently didn't come in until Wednesday. I had to constantly call him for updates. He reported to me
all along he'd 'cleared' repair with extended warranty company and my portion of bill would be no more than $500-600. He did this repair without
my signature on any paperwork, and in fact, only asked me to come in 1 1/2 hours before coach was to be ready on 7/11 after he'd submitted
detailed bill to insurance. When I picked up coach he handed me a bill for $1,336. His explanation: warranty didn't pay taxes due or for nuts and
bolts and he'd had to come in to 'make sure refrigerator was working' ...the shop ran batteries down. I was unable to stay with RV incurring
additional expense of 2 weeks in hotel. This shop had a 'good ole boy' attitude and was not professional in dealing with a female customer.

RV broke down & towed in to Southwest Diesel Service. Broken oil pan done by Ramsay Towing fixed. RV sat there until 10/23 when it was towed to Las Vegas Freightliner. Nothing but diagnostic done and maybe not that. Las Vegas Freightliner verified nothing done. Southwest Diesel Service who didn't want to give us a receipt for RV, finally gave us a blank receipt which we signed and they wouldn't, and before we picked up to take to Las Vegas, they wrote things they said they did above signature, and charged us $501.08 if we wanted to pick up RV. No other choice. Very unco-operative and attitude problem. Dirty place. Would NEVER RECOMMEND.

Previously "dissed" by Cummins Rocky Mountain LLC, Las Vegas (see listing-NV, Las Vegas), so drove the 110 miles north to St. George to SW Diesel. On the appointment date, they had the codes read in the first five minutes and finished minor work in two hours getting right back on the road. Excellent Service!

Appointment was at 8am and they finally started work at 10am. Tech was busy smoking and talking and put wrong filter on generator. I caught it luckily. Although he said he checked chassis, I did not see this happen and I watched the entire procedure as closely as possible. Place was dirty and muddy and very unprofessional. Will not take my motorhome back and would not recommend.
