| Evaluation of Service Performed: | While traveling for the first time from Canada to Texas we had engine problems with our 88 Imperial Class A. Our ERS arranged a tow for us to Action Automotive in West Memphis, AR. It was dark when we arrived & the garage was closed. We left the motorhome there and spent the night in a local motel. First thing the next day, the owner and another mechanic checked the fuel system to see if we had bad fuel. Then they checked the fuel filter, it was fine. They then hooked it up to several gauges and took it for a test run. When they returned, they told us the fuel pump was not producing the pressure needed and would have to be replaced. While on their test drive, they passed by the parts dealer and ordered the replacement pump. While waiting for the pump, they took off the old one and by the time that was finished, the new one arrived and was promptly installed. They took it out again for a 2nd test run and were satisfied that the problem was fixed. They started at 9:00 AM and we were on our way by 1:00 PM. They were very reasonably priced for both parts and labor. They bent over backward to help us and another stranded RVer even though they are only a small family run garage. (They too are RVers). I would highly recommend them for any engine repair. | ||
