  Date of Service:   12/23/2014
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   Check heater core, identify and fix engine temperature issue. Some routine maintenance items.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Think I may have caught them at when their minds were on other things, Christmas time. Did not check work - heater core hoses not properly replaced,
engine temperature issue not resolved which a check/test drive/explanation should have taken care of, it was the gauge sensor. Between them and Cummins
Albuquerque they made it right tho.

Service Performed:   Replace 400 Cummins ISL engine. Failed due to faulty wrist pin. Recall campaign 0713.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   So far engine replacement appears to be fine but there was extensive collateral damage. The rig was at Freightliner in Tucson, (see review for
Freightliner Tucson), whose estimate was out of sight. Cummins in Indiana said it was a recall and they would pay 75% of the repair cost but suggested
I have it towed to their shop in Phoenix, which I did at a cost of $1440.00. Plus another $1690.00 charged me by Freightliner Tucson for a few hours
labor to remove the oil pan and what they called restocking fee for parts they had ordered, which I am sure they had not had time to do but can't
prove that. Picked up rig this week and since it was an engine replacement I inspected for oil leaks, or other engine problems and saw none. Did not
go on roof or look for body damage. Big mistake on my part I guess but it was an engine replacement, not body work. After leaving shop and sitting
up at campground I found satellite was not working and roof A/C not controlling properly. Found they had put it on a low boy and went under a low
street light, pieces of light still on roof, and drug off an A/C shroud, local HD antenna, and Motosat Satellite dish. Also found dash A/C no longer
working, inverter power gone, and a one foot crack in the fiberglass body just above the side radiator. Cummins had picked the tow company to move
it from Tucson and even sit up the tow. I just had to give them a credit card number. The tow company said they didn't do damage even though it was
obvious it happened while towed. And their driver had conveniently quit since the tow and they didn't know how to get in touch with him. Imagine
that. They blamed shops and shops blamed tow company. They pretty much said since I was not present then I can't prove anything and no one is
going to step up. Cost of repairs and replacements will exceed $5000.00. Tried to talk further with tow company but they will not return calls and
have blocked me from their email. Cummins shop just simple says they didn't do it and I can't prove they did. And they ended up paying about 65%
instead of the 75%. They removed the radiator and had it flushed because of oil getting in it but said that was not part of the repair but an option and I
was responsible for entire cost of that. Would of not had oil in it if engine had not failed at 49,223 miles. Also the recall campaign as I understand it
says Cummins would pay 100% of repairs in case of engine failure regardless of warranty status. I was three years out of warranty and they said that
was not what they meant and that they only paid full when it was within the five-year warranty. The service manager in Phoenix said I should be
praising Cummins for paying that much. And suggested that it was partially my responsibility because I didn't drive it enough the first five years. If I
would it would have failed within warranty. I told him it's an RV, not a delivery truck. The engine would not of failed at such a low mileage if Cummins
had not used inferior parts, which they admitted they did in the recall.

  Date of Service:   3/15/2011
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   Annual Cummins engine service and Onan Generator service.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   It took about 5 hours. They told me the batteries were weak so I said replace them. Probably could have gotten more time out of the old ones but I didn't want to take a chance. They have a nice waiting room and also overnight parking with at least electric. Shop is very clean. I would use them again. They only currently do engine and generator work. No chassis or other RV repair.

Service Performed:   Our generator was not working. Cummins did a great job in diagnosing the problem and fixed it the same day we brought it in.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   We are very happy with the way Cummins handled our situation.

  Date of Service:   11/26/2007
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   Oil leak in engine compartment. Work to be done under warranty.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   We arrived at the facility the night before and were able to plug into electricity and spend the night at their site. They came out promptly at 7 am to pick up the coach, directed us to the customer lounge and said they would contact us there when they were done.

We asked at the desk around noon and they said it would be ready when they finished the paperwork and said they would get us. After 2pm we again went to the desk and they acted like they had notified us long ago the coach was ready, but they had not.

About 300 miles east the oil pressure was dropping so we stopped and found the oil leak much worse than before and we had to add a gallon of oil and called the Cummins place where we were headed to fix.

The facility was nice, but they obviously didn't fix the problem and their customer face could use improvement.

Evaluation of Service Performed:   A little pricey but was very good. Got there at about 6pm they took the information and then showed me where to plug in for the night it was there 2nd day at this new location. No appointment necessary in fact they don't make appointments just show up and they will get right on it. They took me in the next morning at 7.
