We were buying and installing solar panels, batteries, and inverter/converter. We wanted to be able to use a small DVD player and recharge phones and
Ipods, on our upcoming trip cross-country, taking our granddaughters to Disney World in Florida, from California. We wanted to be able to use the
outlets, TV, etc.....but not the refrigerator or microwave. We were told by JR and the man who was going to do the work that the entire coach would
have to be rewired for this to take place.....not knowing different we asked him to install at least one outlet in the kitchen area that would work off the
new inverter.

The outlet was installed but crooked, the "hole" for the remote panel was to large and had gaping space on either side and was crooked....he had put a
piece of cardboard inside the cupboard to take up the empty space! We weren"t thrilled but were leaving the following week so......got as far as
Carlsbad New Mexico and the inverter had overheated so badly with the kids watching videos and listening to music enroute that we were thinking we
may have a fire. Tried callin JR, no answer, tried emailing him at the email address on his website, no response. We finally called the manufacturer,
were told to disconnect the batteries IMMEDIATELY and let the inverter cool (in 95 degree weather!). After cooling we called back and were walked
through various checks. The battery he had installed and hooked into the already other, new, batteries was the wrong size! We continued on our trip,
knowing what to watch for, and on the return of the trip stopped to talk to Solar RV in Phoenix. The inverter and remote panel that had been installed
, by Sonrise, had been recalled three years previous, the battery we already knew about. Doug at Solar RV referred us to Ron Wickland at D&R Family
RV in Glendale, who took out the D9(?) battery, installed two new golf cart batteries, a new inverter, and remote panel and made it so ALL of our
outlets worked off the inverter. Took about three/four hours to do it all and we have had no problems since! I DID get a full refund from Sonrise after
writing a letter, and numerous phone calls! Ron even fixed the outsized hole to the best of his ability ! Oh....and the emails to JR....He told us that he
never answers them....or even reads them....the ones to his advertised email address on the website go directly to his spam!!!

Replaced major components for A/C. Very honest and high integrity. This job was very difficult because of National bankruptcy and substandard parts received by Sonrise, but they made it work.

Sonrise busted stuff inside my dash and when I called to tell them about it, they completely went crazy and denied responsibility for the damage. Although Sonrise did come recommended by a friend, personally, my experience with the company was very disappointing.

Work was done within about one week - incredible high quality of work. They even sprayed out much more area then they quoted in order to fix some other minor paint damage on rear of coach (basically fixed prior sloppy work by another major dealer/service center) at no additional charge! Price was very fair. Great place - honest people - I won't go anywhere else again.
