Trailer brake wiring was shorting causing
them to fail intermittently. Gray waste pipe

traveling.

Replaced brake wiring on both axles with a
heavier gauge wire. New wires were run on
the exterior rear of each axle. Gray waste
pipe was replaced and cut into system.
Work performed promptly and at a fair price.

Repair Pin Box on fifth wheel
|

|
Evaluation of Service Performed:
|
Ok folks, the pin box on our 3 year old fifth wheel broke 30 miles out of Whitehorse, we limped back into town on a Sunday. Monday was a Canadian
holiday, first thing Tuesday morning I called Fireweed, John the owner said get here quick. We were at a RV park 1 mile away and went straight there. From
the beginning you could not ask for a more organized, professional crew. They have a RV hookup right next to the building and put us in there.
Understand this was a MAJOR job, the entire front end had to come off including removing the bedroom. John had on call a professional welding firm who
showed up around noon to survey the damage, on Wednesday after John and his crew had everything removed they came and removed the entire front part
of the frame. The welds from the factory were absolutely of poor quality, looked like some beginner had done the work, Forrest River-Columbus. Thursday
afternoon the welding company returned with a heavier duty frame (3/16 steel instead of 1/8), and by 3 pm they had the new frame welded in. John and
his crew immediately started work on putting things back together and finished Friday around 5 pm in time for us to go on down the ALCAN. Extremely
reasonable cost, but main thing these guys KNOW what they are doing, not some "jackleg" who is a shade tree mechanic like most RV repair shops have.
Whether you have a major repair or a small one, stop in and have it repaired by a professional who is honest and fair!!!

Work done on new Wedgewood oven, pilot light would not stay lit. Dealer gave excellent info over the phone as to how the work was to proceed, able to have the oven parts replaced at no cost to us. I feel this dealer goes the extra mile when possible, we did not buy from him.

Work done on time and David knows his way around the RV repair industry. They are a service place not a dealer and he was able to contact Wedgewood, gave us his parts off the shelf. Very willing to share info and point out some things I was doing wrong, took the time to show me.
