Service Performed:   This review is not so much about the
quality of the work done, but on the
customer service lacking from this
dealership and their service
department.

I've been mulling the decision to
post this or not, but I'm at the
point I feel i would be negligent if
I didn't.

My saga started on January 18th 2020
when I dropped my RV off at Holiday
World RV in League City, TX for a
state inspection and some yearly
warranty work. We've taken our RV
here every year since we bought it
in 2016. Each previous year all work
was done within a month and we were
on our way again. This year has been
a nightmare. The staff has all
changed. Not one person in the
service department do I recognize.

After a week at the dealer we called
to get an update. Nothing! No
returned phone calls, no one
answering the phone, nothing! We
elected to drive to the dealer to
see what was going on. Once we asked
about our RV, we were told the clerk
who wrote-up our order was fired and
no one took her place. Finally,
Brittany said she would take care of
it and get it going. She said she'd
call us with an update, so we left.
Two weeks later we still had heard
nothing, so we drive back to the
dealer. When we inquired we were
told that they were waiting on the
warranty company to approve the
claims. We leave again expecting a
call within days. Nothing after
another two weeks.
We tried calling and leaving
messages, but no one responds. We
asked to speak to the service
manager and we're always told "He's
with someone", "He's in the shop
right now, can he call you back". I
say yes, but no one ever calls. I
mean, it's easier to get away with a
bank robbery than it is to get in
contact with anyone at this dealer
that knows anything!
After another week we were finally
told that the RV "may" be ready by
the end of a week. We wait the week
and visit the dealer again. This
time we're told that one of the
claims was not submitted to the
warranty company and would need to
be resubmitted. Brittany said "the
parts are here, we just need
approval". Thinking another week, I
said Ok and left.
Feeling really fed up with the
excuses, I start calling the main
dealership in Katy, TX. I speak to
several folks, but none do anything
to explain the reason my RV repairs
have been delayed for 2 1/2 months.
No one seems to give a hoot.
Finally, Wayne (the service manager
in League City) answers the phone
after I demand to speak with him. He
gives me another line of BS and said
the RV will be ready next Monday or
Tuesday. Well, I'm pretty sure you
know how that ended. Nothing.

Another week goes by and I call the
dealer. This time they tell me they
don't have the correct part to fix
the last remaining issue. Today I
call to get an update and I'm told
the part had not been received and
that the Keystones plant is shut
down due to the Indiana state
quarantine order by the Governor.
Looking up this info I found they
will be shut down until April 12th
(if it's not extended). My saga
continues.

I share this story in this group
since many of you are new and
planning to buy your first RV from
someone. I don't want you to go
through what my wife and I are going
through. Holiday World in League
City, TX has gone down hill where
customer service is the last thing
on their mind. Their sole mission is
to sell you an RV and get you out
the door. Don't be fooled by their
charming salesmen. It's all BS.

We live in our RV fulltime and this
catastrophic bungling has left us
completely dissatisfied with Holiday
World. I don't want anyone to have
to go through what we are now doing.
Stay as far away from Holiday World
as you can! No one there cares about
your RV or your situation.

My wife finally got in touch with
the Holiday World president or owner
and we just today were told we can
pick it up tomorrow, albeit the one
slide is not repaired. It's
functional, but not fixed. We're
picking it up 3/30/2020.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   I'll find out tomorrow! Fingers
crossed!!

  Date of Service:   3/20/2019
Work Done on:   5th Wheel Trailer
Service Performed:   I took my RV in for its annual state
inspection, as well as some extended
warranty work. The folks fixed
everything, including a fridge
freezer door that wouldn't seal
properly, a bad converter, bad
breaker switch, a busy ceiling light
globe, a broken dinning room light,
and a leaf spring that had splayed.
They fixed everything under the
extended warranty. Cost me $200.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Excellent job and everything is back
to normal.
  Value of Service:   Excellent
  Quality of Service:   Excellent
