  Service Performed:   Replace burner and control module. Annual service
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   We live full time in our 2004 Monaco 45' motorhome. I had been using
John for annual service since 2014 and always was satisfied with his work.
In May of 2019 we stopped by his shop for annual service and was told
the bearings on the burner motor were bad. John sold us a NEW burner
and control module plus the annual service for $2200.00. Unit tested OK
and we proceeded on trip east.

We normally use the electric option of the AH for all our hot water, so did
not try to fire the diesel until we were in AZ in NOV when temps were
below 40deg. Diesel did not fire and we had to use our heat pumps and
portable electric heaters. During the period between NOV and MAR, I
made repeated calls to John and he NEVER returned a call.

I finally was able to contact Lloyd De Gerald (De Gerald Services, 501-
258-8426) and he was coming through AZ in MAR. He agreed to stop by
our place in Benson, AZ as he was traveling through. Lloyd checked out
the system and found the we had a bad controller (possibly used). He
replaced the controller and everything checked out and worked.

I called John and for the first time he answered the phone. I explained
what happened and asked for a refund of $800 for the bad controller he
sold me. After a lot of double talk, he agreed that if I returned the bad
controller to him, he would not refund my money, but the most he would
do was replace it with a USED, working old style controller.

It is now June -3 months since I returned the defective controller - and 4
unanswered phone calls and I have not received the replacement
controlled John promised to send.

John does good work when you can get him, but his followup and
warranty coverage is non-existent. For the above reasons, I will never go
back to him and not recommend his work.

  Service Performed:   John serviced our Aqua Hot system. He
said our control modular was bad (
Spheros SG1553-12V) and sold us
another one for $800.00 plus $205.00
service plus $101.51 tax and $25.00
service. He did not check the system.
After he left we were gone for several
hours. When we returned we had no hot
water. The system would not fire. We
called John. The call went to voice mail.
We made several attempts to contact
him and could never get him to answer
calls or texts. We finally text him and
told him we would stop payment on our
check. He finally called us and basically
told us he was out of the area and
would not return. We let him know we
were unhappy and expected him to
refund the $800. We hated to be tacky
and gave him time to make his work
good. He never did anything about a
refund. He gave us the name of another
service person in the area. Lloyd
DeGerald of Lloyd DeGerald Services
came out and checked the system.
Lloyd found the module John had
installed was faulty and may have been
used. Lloyd installed a new module and
tested the system to sure it worked
properly. We checked with our bank.
John cashed our check and never gave
us a refund. We never heard from him
again.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Would not recommend John Carrillo to
do any work. Our Aqua Hot was working
when we call him for routine yearly
service. But when he finished and left
we had no hot water at all and the
system would not operate at all

  Service Performed:   In June 2016 John replaced my Aqua Hot unit due to failure with a rebuilt unit that he rebuilt and it has worked great since.
On July 27 2017 I had him come to my house and perform the annual tune up. Aqua Hot still works perfect.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   In both services performed by John he was very prompt and professional. He carried all parts needed. He travels to many RV
rally's and preforms services there. Highly recommend him for all Hydronic Heating services!!

  Service Performed:   Replace the Aqua Hot in my coach.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   John was right on time and had all tools and parts to replace Aqua Hot that he brought to my driveway. He was done in 5.5 hrs and it works great now.

  Service Performed:   John is a former employee of Aqua Hot and now services Aqua Hots and Hydro Hots. John replaced my Webasto control box.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   John made arrangements to meet me at a truck stop along I-25 on a Sunday at Noon. He was right on time, tested to make sure that the control box needed replacing and then replaced it. Even though it was a Sunday, he gave me a $50 discount on labor and a $25 discount on the part. Having had lots of work done on my Hydro Hot over the past five years, I can testify that John knows his business.
