Date of Service:
3/12/2015

Work Done on:
Class A - Diesel

Service Performed:
Took my Class A diesel motorhome to Champs in March 2015 to have front alignment checked, also to receive advice on tire rotation, if it was necessary.
They "corrected" the alignment, but the steering wheel was then pointed to 10 o'clock and instead of the old vibration I had new vibrations and oscillations.
I called them and was told it would take several hundred miles for the tires to "regroove" to the new alignment. The tires never regrooved and, being in
Oregon, I went to Kaiser Brake & Alignment in Eugene. They reset the alignment and advised two new front tires, Champ's never mentioned this. Now the
ride is smooth as butter. What upset me most is that Champs used some type of chemical agent on my wheels, they were attempting a rotation, and it
etched the chrome. After many polishings, the etching is still there. Also didn't like the multiple opinions I received about alignments, tires, pressure, etc.,
depending on who at Champs I talked to - they were all over the board on advice.

Evaluation of Service Performed:
Alignment caused more issued that had to be corrected at Kaiser's in Eugene. Chrome wheel etching is still there.
