Evaluation of Service Performed:
Excellent. Methodical. No wasting of time. I have discovered I know a lot more than many techs seem to know, but Rick is one of only two in whom I feel
complete confidence--in part because he clearly states his limitations but knows how to proceed. No B.S.
I called 11 RV service outfits and he was the only one willing to come to Gloucester MA, a drive of more than an hour one-way. So I was also impressed that
his trip charge was reasonable at $95, and he will split it if more than one customer is nearby. His hourly rate is also reasonable at $70 (Aug '15). Even
then he charges in 15-minute increments, so if the job takes only 30 minutes the charge is for only a half hour. Very fair. And he will work crazy hours
into the evening!
Worth noting: He spent a half hour on the phone with me walking me thru several steps to try to solve my electrical problem without coming out--for free!
Clearly, he is VERY customer service oriented.
Other jobs he mentioned he'd just finished or was going to next included replacing a transfer switch, sealing a roof, and a couple other hot water heaters.
I don't know whether he does work on the drive train, but I suspect he does some.
