  Date of Service:   8/10/2014
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   I took my recently purchased, used, Class A diesel into this facility to have it inspected and to advise and fix anything that needed repaired; also an included
oil/filter change, and I paid for a 2 hr orientation on the chassis. I also took my car in to have it setup for flat towing.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Now that we've been living out on the road for 10 months, learning more about our rig, talking to other full timers, and visiting a few other repair shops, I
realize how dangerous taking my rig into this Mechanicsburg repair shop was. Since then we have repaired several items this shop said they "fixed."
Found several other repairs they should have detected and fixed. Besides being expensive, I now question their knowledge. For example, they bragged
about lifting my rig off the ground on its jacks just to see if it could do it - something I've read in our manual (and confirmed by the factory service center)
not to do. Additionally, they installed a faulty circuit breaker in my car's engine compartment that cuts out when the outside temp gets above 85 deg. I
notified the repair shop and they're still trying to figure out the problem 8 months later. Bottom line, be careful here. There is a Cummins Coach Care
facility in near-by Harrisburg, which I did not know about at the time, so there are other options in the Harrisburg PA area.
