Date of Service:
7/1/2014

Work Done on:
Class A - Diesel

Service Performed:
A/C compressor locked up on I-79 in West Virginia. Motorhome was towed to Fyda Freightliner in Pittsburgh since it was still under the Freightliner
warranty and they were the closest dealer. Motorhome was diagnosed the next afternoon, and parts were ordered. Parts arrived the next day late in
the day, the night shift attempted to replace the compressor but broke the fittings off the old compressor in the A/C line when trying to remove the
A/C lines. At this point all they could do was get the engine running with the new compressor mounted but had no parts to repair the damaged A/C
lines and didn't know if they could even be repaired, new ends installed. Complicating matters further, Freightliner doesn't even carry the replacement
ends but has to order them as needed. The expected wait time for the part from Freightliner is SIX WEEKS.

Evaluation of Service Performed:
Very poor quality of service not only by Fyda Freightliner but also by Freightliner Inc. The techs at Fyda have no experience working on motorhomes
other than oil changes and really don't want to work on them. The Freightliner Factory has very poor parts support for warranty A/C repairs. A call to
Freightliner Customer Service was a waste of time since they told me the same thing they told the dealer, No Parts Available-Wait Six Weeks till we can
get some.
