Reupholstered driver and "co-pilot" chairs - then the sofa hide a bed. Kev provided ultra leather material for all.

Workmanship was excellent, however, light fabric on sofa "peeled" on 3 cushions and left armrest after a short period and only light use. Either
Kevin was hoodwinked by supplier, or he knowingly provided less than quality material. When shown the first cushion's peeling, Kevin became super defensive and told how it had been "cut". Didn't need that "baloney" and decided suing was too negative so we took it to an upholsterer where coach was made and had sofa redone. They stated that the peeling material was NOT ultra leather! Update 10/29/2013: We are presently having some of Kev's work redone at the initial coach upholsterer because sofa and other were literally falling apart. We are happy with the captain's chair, but were told/sold that the material was ultra leather - - but it is/was not - - it is a high-grade vinyl, but it stretches, etc. unlike ultra leather and leather. I'm afraid Kevin (owner of Kev's) makes extra money by using lesser materials than quoted and charged. I will be reporting his work to local BBB and Chamber of Commerce in near future. Light colored portion of sofa material was much lesser quality - - - almost every square inch peeled. We will be keeping samples of the materials for future reference, etc. |
