Hard-starting new gas Onan 4k generator
9 generator hours under warranty
replaced fuel pump?

Less than 1 year old 9 generator hours warranty work
They were locked on my not running it enough.
After repair it remained just as hard to start for a
year. I then wiggled the choke lever (no repair
manual available). It started immediately and ever
since.

Originally service to Onan generator in February 2015. Secondly for trouble shooting non-starting generator to identify if it was generator or electrical
problem.

Took the unit in originally for repair/service of the Onan generator. That issue was resolved satisfactorily but EXPENSIVE. 2 months later the generator
would not turn over and wanted them to identify if it was a generator or electrical problem. They identified that it was an electrical problem and removed
the battery control panel and cut some wires to "identify the part numbers that needed to be replaced". With the parts removed from the unit I could not
verify if their appraisal was correct or not. I asked them to reinstall the "short circuited" battery control board and other parts. Upon waiting and setting
up another appointment, they reinstalled the parts. Everything was now working fine! No blown 120 Amp fuse $35.06, No Battery Control short circuited
$308.55, No $650 labor to reinstall the NOT NEEDED items. It was simply some corrosion on a terminal wire!!! By being cautious and not giving the
automatic go ahead they wanted, I saved myself over $1,000.00. Bottom Line: If you have money to burn, go ahead. I do not recommend them. Did they
admit their mistake? Nope.

Alternator replaced under Good Sam Extended Warranty
Had them do an oil/filter change at the same time.

Picked them because they are 'Cummins'. Scheduling was a problem. When first called they could not fit us in for over a week. We were leaving on
vacation a couple of days later so put it off until we got back. Called them the day before we came home and was told they could fit us in if we got
it to them the next day. When we got there, they said it could be a week or more!!! It then took them a week to get round to us. When they did get
to us, it took them 2 days (including getting a new alternator). No complaints on that repair.
Next to the oil/filter change... They were $100+ more than the competition but as they had our rig anyway, we gave the go-ahead. After I got it
back, discovered they had not changed the fuel/water separator. After calling, they said they had changed one and weren't aware there was a
second one... They advertise as an RV service center!!! Overall, not impressed.
