| Service Performed: | We bought a new Jeep Wrangler and needed to get it wired and set to tow the vehicle. We took the tow equipment off the old vehicle and called camping world to set up an appointment. They stated they had to order the equipment and would take 7 - 14 days. We explained in detail that we did NOT have a Rubicon but a regular Wrangler Sahara Jeep. Finally (14 bus days later) they called to set up the appointment. Went to camping world in Spartanburg and told the service department that I would be waiting since I live in Col SC. 4 hours later I walked by the service bay and saw no one working on the jeep. My wife then called me and stated someone called her and stated that I had told them to order the wrong equipment. They then stated they didn't know I was waiting in the lobby. My wife called me and I went to the attendant to find out the problem. Was told would have to reorder and would be another 7 - 14 bus days to get equipment. Then questioned if they hooked up the brake pro, no. So I sat in the lobby for 4 hours, nothing was done to the jeep and no one tried to alert me that there was a problem. RE ordered the correct equipment( which should have been order originally). I called in about 10 days, they stated that equipment was in and to set up appointment about 2 weeks. Then went to get installed. Put equipment on front, but when I picked up the vehicle I noticed that the electrical plug was a rectangular plug, flat four pin. My RV has a round plug. Went to service desk, they stated I didn't request a round four pin electrical plug. Asked about why they didn't install correct plug and why didn't they install the brake pro. Was then told the Brake Pro is 3 years old and we don't have equipment for it now. Stated Roadmaster no longer makes a wiring harness (2nd car wiring kit) for the Brake Pro. So, I now have a tow vehicle set up to tow which does not have an electrical connection (plug) for the lights to work, nor do I have a breaking system. Folks in Spartanburg were professional but never offered an apology for either of the 3 problems and the only solution was for me to go to UHaul to see if they had a flat to round 4 pin adapter. | ||
