These guys completed excellent inverter repair again. I had
an inverter repaired in 2014. They started before my
appointment time and worked after hours to get us going.
They offered to let us plug-in and stay at the shop if it
was too late. Labor/parts are very reasonable.
I always like to plug a vendor who goes above and beyond, and I
recently had such an experience at the Inverter Service Center in
White House, TN (just north of Nashville).
We have a Trace RV2012 inverter with an RC7GS. All was well on
the charging side, but I could not get the inverter to 'invert', plus
my remote was flaky. I contacted Xantrex and they pointed me to
their midwest authorized service center: Inverter Service Center
I called and spoke to one of their leads, Randy, and he suggested I
divert my trip and stop by for a checkout. A few days later, I pulled
up to their facility, met Randy, and in minutes he and his team
were on it.
Turns out my remote was bad (sniff), but the inverter was fine
(yah!), so now all I had to do was find a remote replacement (no
longer manufactured). I discussed options with Randy; he did not
have any on hand, but he gave me some ideas as to sourcing,
pricing, etc. and sent me on my way -- no charge.
I quickly found a replacement remote online for $80 from a marine
supply outfit in Florida, and I'm writing this because I owe a big
debt of gratitude for assistance to Randy and company at the
Inverter Service Center as well as Xantrex support for sending me
in their direction.
If you ever have a problem, don't hesitate to call them.
These folks are good! Very good.
The fan in the battery charger inside my Heart Freedom 25 inverter, now Xantrax, was making noise like a bearing was going bad. They were able to replace the fan in less than an hour, I was worried I would have to buy a new inverter for $1400, and while there they uncovered a bad battery connection that they fixed as well.

The work was done by Randy and he even let me watch what he was doing. The shop was very clean and he did very professional work quickly. The labor rate is $85/hr. Total bill, parts and all was about $125.
