Front Air not properly sealed, I found several old mounting holes not sealed. The Bus was in the shop twice, once to
diagnose the units then when the new units were in stock to install them. That was part of the plan to begin with to
enable us to make a previously planned week long trip.
The Major Issue Was:
NO communication, poor coordination between the Service Writers and the Service Manager. During both time the rig was at
Diamond The Service Writer did not call as agreed to advise us of progress, On the initial visit to diagnose the problem I
gave him an additional 4 days to contact us and then called him. It took him several minutes to 'look-up' the status in
their system. It was another 7 days before the rig was ready to be picked up. Two weeks to diagnose the problem and
complete the approval process with our Extended Service Plan. The approval process including an on site inspection was
completed in less than 2 days. The Service Writer did not call to advise us the replacement units were in stock. I
called him and he had to go and check. He scheduled our rig to come in the next morning early stating that the
replacement of the units and the upgraded thermostat control would require 2 hours of shop time. A week later I called
him back for an update on status he offered the same explanation given on the first visit, 'some other repairs took longer
than expected' he committed to have the rig finished by the end of the day Thursday 4 days away. Taking him at his word
we arrived at 3:00 PM on the Thursday the rig was to be finished. When we sat down at his desk and re-introduced our
selves his mouth fell open. He excused himself and went out to see the Service Manager. He returned several minuets
latter and told us they were working on our rig. Ten minutes later the Service Manager came to us and said the rig would
be done this evening and he had 3 service techs working on it and he would hold them over if it was not finished by the
end of the day. The replacement of both units and the new thermostat was complete by 5:00 PM, gee 2 hours of shop time
after having the rig for 2 weeks. Good thing we were at our home base.
VALUE OF SERVICE: Based on the fact that our extended service plan covered all but the $500.00 deductible the value was as
expected, except for the shoddy sealing of old mounting holes on the front unit.

Bernie the electrical tech had the problem identified and trouble shot within minutes. I dropped the RV off at Diamond at the end of the day
Tuesday to be worked on the following day. Before I left Bernie had isolated the faulty circuit and ordered the part. Very relieved it wasn't serious.

Did not even get to use it and it broke. The service manager said I have a 1 year warranty but is no longer there and now they will not stand by there
work or fix what they were paid to fix. They took the insurance money and ran. Paid over 12k for repairs.

Our basement air conditioner had stopped working and we had a bad seal on our living room slide. Once we arrived to get those things fixed, we also had them install new windshield wipers and do an oil change on our Winnebago Journey.

Bernie was our tech and he was a joy to work with. He took the time to explain everything that was done. Showed us the old rubber seal. We stayed in their lot with 30 amp service for 4 days since we could not get into the campground until our allotted reservation.
