While vacationing near Desert Hot Springs, CA, the transmission in my 2001 Dodge 2500 diesel truck started having shifting problems. Some trouble shooting on my part uncovered that it likely needed a new governor pressure sensor and governor pressure solenoid. This is a job I could have handled myself, but not at an RV park. Being unfamiliar with businesses in the area, I turned to the BBB.org web site and found this particular transmission shop in the nearby town of Palm Desert. It had BBB accreditation and zero complaints on file. I
called the shop at about 9:30am and was told they could fit me in that same day at 1:00pm.

Evaluation of Service Performed:
The shop turned out to be nothing fancy... you might even call it a little dingy and even "a hole in the wall"... but the employees were friendly, very knowledgeable, and professional. They had my truck in the bay promptly and back out in about 45 minutes, which was way better than I could have done. I watched the mechanic from the open bay door and was impressed by how clean he kept everything
that touched my transmission. The price was VERY reasonable too. In short, I highly recommend this shop for transmission work on cars and light-duty trucks if you're In the Palm Desert area. I don't think their service bay could handle anything larger so keep that in
mind.
