Dash A/C worked on and an awful engine idle problem that Chev couldn't fix.

Outstanding. They had trouble with the idle problem but kept after it and fixed it for no additional fee.

Removed and replaced Steering gear. Re-installed drive-shaft that had to be removed to tow the rig. Includes call out for
initial diagnostic, I was hoping it was just a gasket on the gear, but the thing was pouring fluid out in a few places.

The gear appears to have been installed competently. they installed new hoses, bled the system properly and drove it to
make sure everything was ok. My rig was in the same shape when I picked it up as when I left it.
Locating the part was tough, Adam tried to find one locally to get us back on the road, but after several hours the best
they could do was over a week. I ended up ordering a reman steering gear directly from Sheppard (orig. part maker) and
they had it delivered in 6 days... not that it mattered, they had the part on Tuesday the 19th of Sept. and It wasn't
ready for me to pick up until the 29th. They were apparently backlogged and didn't get started with the replacement until
the 27th of Sept. Out of sight out of mind I suppose.
I feel the labor charge was a bit high especially considering how long it sat there, but when you break down on the road
it isn't easy to shop around or negotiate. The labor charge was $1300, but the initial call out was almost 1/2 the bill.
Lesson learned, get it towed to begin with unless you are really sure it's worth it AND it can be fixed on the spot.
We were on our way back from evacuating for Irma and My wife and I had to be back for work. I had no choice but to leave
the RV with Richard Parks Truck Repair and hope for the best.

Diagnosed starter problem on my Onan 5500 generator. Replaced starter with new one.

Lindsey Floyd was the tech assigned to this service. He came to my RV site and went right to work. He dismounted the starter after determining that it needed to be replaced. He took it to a local starter/motor shop and picked up a new one they had in stock. He returned and installed the new starter which worked just fine. He was very professional in his manner and obviously knew what he was doing. I would recommend this company for anyone needing RV chassis, motor or generator repair. There price was fair and they charged no service call or mileage fee.
