| Service Performed: | ATTEMPTED to fix cranking problem. Jumped starter by using screwdriver to power starter. Motorhome started so repair man says bad starter and removes starter WITHOUT disconnecting batteries. Starter checked out OK so repairman returned and replaced starter, again without disconnecting battery, and during starter replacement the transmission lost power. Now impossible to start since transmission has neutral safety. Repairman says he does not know what to do and leaves charging me for "diagnostic and labor" at $125/hour. | ||
| Evaluation of Service Performed: | POOR. Repairman had insufficient tools and knowledge for this repair. While I can not prove it it is my opinion that the transmission ECU was blown while starter was replaced without disconnecting battery. I was told by management that I would not be charged since repair could not be made but guess what the bill is on my MasterCard. DO NOT trust Mechanics Incorporated in Georgia!!! | ||
