  Date of Service:   5/20/2010
  Company Contact:   Wiley
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   I have had work done at this shop before and was impressed so I had my Pacbrake (retarder)changed to preselect 3rd gear instead of 4th so it would be more effective on big downgrades (they do this by plugging in the computer to the Alison Transmission).
Also I supplied the rebuild kit and they rebuilt my Haldex-Midland Air Dryer which definitely needed maintenance time-wise.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   They ran into some problems on the air dryer as the filter wouldn't come off so they took the whole unit out and finally got the old filter off.

The air dryer was full of what looked like gray mud (mixed desiccant, oil, etc. They cleaned it out well and and then installed the kit parts and checked it to make sure everything was working properly.

They are an Alison Shop part of a larger network and although small, really seem to know what they are doing. The pricing was extremely reasonable for the work.

  Date of Service:   10/19/2009
  Company Contact:   Wiley
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   My Alison transmission would not go into gear. The code showed 2112 meaning "Throttle position sensor failed low". I called Covington( a small shop that's part of a bigger network) and Wiley said come right over. They put the computer on it, checked the sensor and found it was good and only the cable needed adjusting, which they did. Whole time was about 20-30 minutes and they sent me on my way with no charge. Hard to find service places with that attitude. I told them they were obviously the least expensive service stop I ever made and the last Allison repair elsewhere had been a computer for $3800. They were a very welcome change
Evaluation of Service Performed:   They solved the problem and I am back on the road. So far, so good
