they have not been able to track down. Jeep Liberty
Evaluation of Service Performed:
Be warned not to do business with this establishment the manager of the place Mike Baus is totally unprofessional and absolutely ignorant.
On Tuesday of this week my wife went in to pick up her car after an oil change and to fix a check engine light that has been coming on intermittently since we purchased the Jeep Liberty from them in 05.
She proceeded to go to the service desk to pay for the oil change and pick up the car when she was approached by the manager Mike Baus out of the blue and shouted at to leave the store and never come back.
My wife was left speechless at this point as we have always been good customers. We have always had service done there and never caused any problems. So she was totally at a loss as to why he was acting like a child.
She asked if this was a joke and at the top of his lungs waiving his arms around he again told her to get out and never come back. When she asked why what had she done to deserve this treatment he stated you took money out of my pocket get out.
She then realized he was referring to an oil change we had done three months ago when my wife had questioned a portion of the bill for windshield washer fluid. See we have about 10 bottles in the garage and she had filled hers the day before going and that what she was
questioning the charge for the fluid. It was not the amount but the principle of paying for something that was not needed. Anyway when she questioned the bill as she was paying the girl behind the counter called Mike to tell him she was questioning the charge. He walked back to the counter and threw a dollar on the counter and walked away.
When she remembered what he was referencing she told him she would give him the dollar, back but that even made him rant and rave even more, like a little kid. This had all his employees looking for a place to hide the expressions on their faces were of disbelief.
So for a dollar he has lost a customer that will never by a car or even think of looking at an RV from them in the future. I have worked as a manager in a service business for over 20 years and have never ever treated or even thought of treating a customer like this. This man is totally unprofessional and does not deserve your respect or business. Yes he is a Gulf Stream dealer thank god I just bought my new Independence from someone other than his dealership. So be forewarned if you buy from
