We live in Virginia and so dropped our '98 Allegro Bus there in July for the extensive work noted above. Communications from the shop while service was ongoing was sometimes less than they advertised but when called they were responsive and generally (but not completely) accurate in their progress reports. They farmed out the body/paint work (and it was excellent-plus).
When I arrived to pick up the coach they gave me the six-page printout of all work and charges and urged me to go take as long as I wanted to check it against the coach. The only significant oversight was that though they had repaired the dashboard A/C, they overlooked my complaint that the "floor" setting on the heater controls produced no air whatsoever for the poor shivering driver. It took two tries by two different workers (working in a 110F coach) to discover the simple solution: the duct had been draped randomly under the dash by some previous repair shop, blowing its air toward the underside of the dash. Otherwise, all repairs were completed, the coach was spotless, and the new roof and paint job were stunning.
Imagine my surprise when the roof job came in at about 60% of what they had estimated, AND they did $1,200 worth of work removing, re-gasketing and replacing the windshield UNDER WARRANTY -- on a ten-year-old coach, for the third owner, without my asking!! THAT is customer service.
Since we have grandkids in Nashville, just three hours north of Red Bay, you can bet we'll be back to Tiffin for future work. It's more than worth the effort to get there.

Purchased a used 2003 Allegro Bus with 53,000 miles on it. Drivers side window was fogged and toilet seat broken on delivery, got it home and everything started breaking. We had a punch list of about 30 items. The Tiffin service folks stayed on our coach for 4 solid days fixing electrical, plumbing, slide, stove.... there isn't enough room to list all the work.

OUTSTANDING! Not only did they fix all our items they found numerous others while we were there. For example, the kitchen awning was torn slightly due to rubbing against the patio slide. Bad design, they replaced the awning, no charge. There were more "no charge" items than charges. They treated my wife wonderfully the whole time she was there. Take something to read though, there's nothing to do in Red Bay.

Dave and his crew did an outstanding job on my 32BA motorhome. Once inside the repair bay, they hooked us up and we were able to stay on the motorhome while they did their job. Very professional and courteous.
Also, we were provided a space in their campground at no charge while we waited for service. We arrived on Tuesday, they came to the campground on Wednesday to review what needed to be done and did the repair on Thursday. A very good experience.
