I can no longer recommend Caesar Chavez of C&G Mobile Repair (Colorado) as a HydroHot repair person. His installation of a new heat exchanger in my coach resulted in a coolant leak that ruined all the carpet in the entrance of our coach. He assured us that he would have the damage repaired. However, after weeks of phone calls not being returned, followed by two appointments where he failed to show up, we are frustrated. We suggest anyone considering using this person beware. If there is a problem, he does not stand behind his work.

We have had a 2006 Allegro Bus 40 QSP with Hydro Hot since March 06. It took some reading of the manual and calls to Hydro Hot to learn what we wanted to know about it. We took it to a shop in AZ in Apr. 07 to get the annual service done and have it checked out. The shop we went to was listed as a trained repair facility by Hydro Hot. At this point we are not convinced they know what they are doing but we will not give their name here.
When we called Hydro Hot last year we spoke with Caesar Chavez (no, not that one). He was the guy who gave all the tech info on the phone for them for some time. He also did a lot of repairs and maintenance for years. He trained other techs.
After our service in AZ we did not think our HydroHot was working properly. There has always been a diesel odor and black exhaust smoke. We were in CO so called HydroHot to see if we could get service. They were booked up for the next month and told us Caesar has now gone into business for himself and suggested we call him and gave us his number.
We called Caesar. We were waiting for chassis service at Freightliner in Frederick, CO. Caesars shop is in Evans, CO. He came over with his van and tools. He said our HydroHot should not smell and there should not be black smoke. He went to work taking the unit apart checking various parts. He had special tools. He had special gauges and meters. He knew everything about our unit. The unit was not getting enough air. The nozzle was not forming the correct spray pattern. The fuel pressure was low. He checked everything out and fixed everything that was wrong including a new nozzle. No more smell. No more smoke. Total charges - $130 - road service included.

There well may be no one else who knows as much about this product than Caesar. He is a young guy starting out in business for himself and does excellent work - knows what he is doing. Hydro Hot should get a new filter and nozzle once a year. There are other things that need doing to tune it up. Caesar has the knowledge and ability. Call 970-978-8574.
