CHANGE OF TRANSMISSION FLUID AND FILTER
 
Evaluation of Service Performed:  
HORRIBLE!! WHEN WE STARTED TO DRIVE TO STORAGE AREA TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT SHIFT, HAD TO 'COAST' BACK TO WEST COAST RV. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE THEIR TRANSMISSION PEOPLE CHECK IT. MEANWHILE WE LOOKED UP CODES ON SHIFT INDICATOR - SHOWED LOW FLUID LEVELS. WEST COAST RV TOOK A WEEK TO ANALYZE PROBLEM, FINALLY TOLD US THEY WOULD HAVE TO PULL THE TRANSMISSION, MIGHT TAKE UP TO $14,000 TO FIX, COULD NOT FIND PROBLEM. MY HUSBAND PICKED UP THE RV, RESET THE CODES,(which had not been checked) DROVE RV TO OUR STORAGE FACILITY, CHECKED THE FLUID AND IT WAS ALMOST A GALLON LOW. HE ADDED TRANSMISSION FLUID AND IT HAS BEEN FINE. WHEN WE CONTACTED WEST COAST RV THEY SAID THAT COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED AND TO DRIVE THE RV BACK (PRIOR TO ADDING THE FLUID), THEY DID NOT BELIEVE US. WE HAD PAID ABOUT $375.00 FOR THIS SERVICE. ALSO, WHEN WE PICKED UP THE RV LAST TIME THE MATS WERE DIRTY AND THE RADIO ON VERY LOUD. WE CONTACTED THE SERVICE MANAGER AND ONE OF THE OWNERS. THEY ACTED PRETTY DISGUSTED WITH US.
