Did not get done:
Well guess what!! Camping World does it again. After
telling me that they had the awnings in (even
yesterday when I dropped by), they called me at 10
(after I dropped it off at 8) to tell me that parts
had been back-ordered until September 25th and would
not arrive until 10 days later. They lied to me three
times. Even as late as yesterday afternoon when I
stopped by. Of course, the lady at the parts counter
had the day off today. How bad is that. We are back
to square one. Remember it well my friends.

First of all, bought brand new Class C at sales next to service center. Brought RV for warranty work and install steering
damper. Service Writer I use was excellent to deal with. Mechanics who did the install steering damper job did terrible
job. Did not road test when I was told they road tested for adjustment. When I left, got less than a mile down the road and
could not steer straight without difficulty. Brought back and took them 4 road tests to get it to drive straight.
Basically, shop lied to Service Writer about road testing. About a month later, started to want to steer wander. Had
checked by local R.V. center and found bolts that held steering damper on steering rod were "stripped" and not holding.
Probably due to over torque of bolts and nuts. Will only use Camping World at this location for warranty work, ONLY and
will not take possession of RV unless I check to see work was done correctly. This mistake by them could have caused me to
get into an accident if I had a blow out of front tire and was unable to control steering which damper is supposed to
assist and prevent. Price of part and installation was hundreds dollars higher than I was quoted. Some lame brain excuse as
to why. Beware of Camping World service here. They lied to me about something that was a safety issue.

I was quoted 1/2 hour labor ($64.50) and parts ($17.00). Arrived at 0830 for 0900 appointment. Around 1100 I was told it would take 4 hours labor,
$520.00, to replace the valve and the part would cost $75.00. I told Bob I was not going to do this at that cost. I still had to pay the 1/2 hour labor charge,
although no work was done. Bob told me that the tech had to "research" the problem. Sounds like a scam or they need better estimators!

Extraride extended insurance flawlessly.

The slideout adjustment could not be done by two other Holiday Rambler dealers. They could not even diagnose the problem although I had told them I was sure that was why it leaked. CW found the problem and fixed it.
