Replaced the expansion valve and dryer.
They charged $89.75 for shipment of parts but they had the RV for two weeks?
Total parts was $163.93 and I have no issues with that.
Final bill was $791.33?
Too bad the ac is still not working well as the cab air
from the outlets gets to maybe 50 degrees. This is Florida....gotta have air working!!!
I like the Service people but hoped for a better outcome with the AC considering the cost.

We called Chuck, our service writer, for an appointment for some annual service work for our toy hauler. When we arrived, Chuck came with the list of
services and we discussed several service options and decided on the most appropriate ones for us. Chuck did not try and oversell services that we did not
need. Check in was quick, the completion of the service was quick, and when we came to pick up the camper the checkout process was quick. When I
went to lock the front basement where the generator is there was a small piece of blue tape with the date and hours when the generator was serviced,
which was nice. The last service I had done, which was not performed by La Mesa, there was no indication placed on the generator cover like this time.
Excellent customer service!

I purchased a new Class A motorhome in Jan 15. While going on a test drive to Daytona my instrument cluster froze. It was a Saturday and although I knew
the service department was closed I decided to drive it there and leave it until Monday. When I got there it turned out the service team was having a class
which had just ended. The service manager and 5 techs all came out and spent about 20 minutes going over the coach to resolve the problem. They did not
have to do that, they could have hidden in the back and put me off until the following week.

I was very satisfied and will continue to go there for service on my motorhome even when my warranty expires. There was a single "poor" review from
2011 on this website. My understanding is that they have changed service managers since then and things have improved considerably. I have no idea what
the service experience will be for someone who did not by their RV from La Mesa but I would certainly recommend people give them a try. The service writer
is very detailed and follows through with communications on repair status.

Purchased a new Carriage 5th wheel from La Mesa and at no time during the process did they tell us that Carriage had closed their doors. It was not until I called to find out about getting some items repaired that they promised to fix that the service manager told us La Mesa would not fix them due to the closing of Carriage. I was instructed to call their California location and speak with Javier..
Basically he told me tough luck...

La Mesa sells RV's by telling customers they perform a 140 point inspection on each unit sold. Part of the inspection is pulling wheels and checking the brakes, yet there were still spider webs on the wheels.
