New tires after tread separation.

Evaluation of Service Performed:
The Firestone Steeltex tires that came with my Roadtrek failed at just over 18,000 miles. I had a tread separation. It was not visible from the outside and there was no accident. I took it to Redwood General as they had been in business for a long time and worked on larger vehicles. It was a complete pleasure to talk with people who really understood what their business was. I bought a set of Michelin XPS Rib tires on their recommendation. I expect these tires to last a long time. I believe these people have absolute integrity. For example; they checked the alignment and told me that while they could improve it a bit, the improvement would not justify the cost. I have never heard of that before. Although they had to obtain the tires for me (this is not a common line of tires) the job was done in a few hours and they called me when it was done.
