I had Quinn service the engine, transmission, and diesel generator. After service the next morning I noticed the smell of diesel. I found a puddle under the generator. I call Quinn and was informed they do not have a mobile service and I would have to bring it in. The problem ended up being an improperly installed fuel filter and it was fixed. I also noticed the engine was a gallon low on oil so they topped it off. A week later while driving to Indio, CA I noticed the transmission whining more than normal. When I stopped for fuel I checked the fluid level in the Allison transmission on the key pad. It was 8 quarts low!!!! I called Quinn Cat and the service tech said he would find out from the boss if he could drive over and top it off, then he would call me back. He never called. I tried
calling him again and he would not return my calls. I ended up buying 2 gallons and filling it myself. Hopefully the tranny was not damaged by driving it 8 quarts low. I will never go to Quinn for service again!

=======
Just an update on last review. I received a call from a gentleman named Clifford of Quinn in Oxnard and he was very apologetic for the service I received and assured me that this will never happen again. He went on to say they
had made changes to insure this is so. I appreciated the call and apology and now feel I will give them another chance when I need service.

Very poor service. Not typical of service I have received at other CAT service centers. I was very disappointed.

I went in for a valve adjustment and to have the ECM reflashed. I bought the motorhome used so I wanted to make sure the valves were adjusted and any updates were done on the ECM. They also included an oil sample. After the oil sample was taken the tech forgot to place the oil cap back on. I hitched up my TV and off I went back home (50 miles).
When I got home the car and rear of the motorhome was covered with oil and I lost about 3 quarts total. I immediately contacted the service manager and explained my situation to him. He felt so bad and would not stop apologizing to me. Quinn ended up refunding me $100 to me to take care of the problem, which I thought was fair.

Quinn was very good at placing plastic covers on the seat and steering wheel, however the plastic they placed on the floor had a sticky back and I had to clean the tile to remove the residue. I think all in all Quinn was very knowledgeable and helpful. I do have to mark the rating down a bit for the bonehead mistakes.

I took my RV in to have basic diagnostics run on the engine, primarily to ensure that the hours on the engine correlated with the odometer. The appointment was professionally set up by Terrie, and the service manager Ricky was very helpful. I told him that this was the first and last motorhome we'd own, so he took much more time to ensure that the complete diagnostics were run on the engine and retained in their files. He gave me lots of time to discuss the maintenance of the engine and what I needed to do to make sure it lasted at least 500K miles. This was one of the few visits to a service center that I actually left with kind words and didn't feel that they were only after money. I highly recommend this location for any CAT powered RV's drive-line service. Again, they are engine/transmission/brake specialists and work with primarily truckers, but there were lots of high-end RV's in their lot for preventive maintenance and like mine, diagnostics and repairs.
