Diagnosis and repair water leak.

This was my second trip to Olinger but the first for this problem. Had previously had leak checked at dealer (Holiday Motorhomes-Fife) and they said it was fixed???? Olinger listened to my concerns and where I thought the water (rain) was coming from. Within two hours they were able to determine where the leak was coming in, fixed and tested the area to make sure it was dry. They also recommended ways to cut down on condensation that was dripping in above the windshield (Holiday Motorhomes dismissed this as irrelevant). Aaron and Laurie were extremely helpful throughout the process, they took time to show me the problem areas and how they were fixed. Would definitely go there again.

I bought a new motorhome from Olinger last fall. I then took it in to them several times for warranty work. They kept it two months to replaced the backup camera. I had a hydraulic leak and they replaced a hose. It took them three days to figure out how to bleed the hose so they could get my slide to come back in. Then I had an appointment to have my slide repaired and took it in. They needed factory approval because it would take over two hours to fix. They told me that it would take 2 or 3 days to get the authorization and sent me home. I called the factory and they said that they usually give the approval immediately on the phone or no longer than two hours later. Why wasn't this done before I arrived?

Nearly every repair has taken several days to complete. They have had to call the factory for instructions on fixing the problem nearly every time also. One service technician told me that the loom that holds my wiring in the slide was a chain that pulled out the slide (when in fact it moves via a hydraulic ram). I am now taking an 1800 mile trip to the factory rather than have them do any more repairs to my RV.

Had issues with batteries on new T/T that I purchased from them. They diagnosed it as a "loose connection" and returned the trailer to me. Over memorial weekend the batteries (about 1 yr old) failed, and I had to drive to the nearest town to replace them at my cost. I returned the originals to Olinger, and was told by the service department that all he could do is replace them at the prorated cost.

Obviously the battery problem was mis-diagnosed, as my replacement batteries work better than the originals ever did. I am very disappointed that they refused to credit me the prorated value of the batteries, as I believe that it's their fault that I had to replace them out of town. If they had correctly diagnosed the problem, I would have had them replaced at the dealership and not been in this situation. I will not do business with them again unless they make this right.

Some they had to do over again, but they did a very
good job even though we didn't buy from them.

Had problem with warning light and beeper on jacks going off at random times. Tried filling with fluid, no luck. Took in for repair 3 times and they were unable to diagnose problem. Kept blaming jack manufacturer for not calling them back. Service personnel unable to diagnose simple problem. The float switch was bad. Took to another repair facility and in 5 minutes they diagnosed the bad switch and had it fixed shortly thereafter. Have had other similar experiences with this dealer.

I purchased a new 2003 Newmar Mountain-Aire DP. Never got what I paid for. Coach had more problems than Carter has pills. Problems with everything from the TV to the generator to the transmission. Newmar stood completely behind their warranty but the Olinger service department was pathetic. Simple items took 30 days to fix and even then they were not really fixed.

Poor to very poor. If their is a rating that is worse than poor than it applies to Olinger. Also, take a truth meter to any meetings with anyone at Olinger. Watch out for these people and get everything in writing. If you ask them for the time of day get it in writing too. These people use tricks you haven't even heard about. Worst service work I have ever had on anything. In other words these people lie through their teeth.
