I have been to this facility many times and have always been disappointed. If I was to use them again I would defiantly
check all fluid levels before leaving

Had been running for a couple thousand miles since we left Oregon knowing I was overdue for a service on the air dryer. Tried and failed to find shops along the way heading south who could source parts and schedule the work until I hit southern California and called around and got Ed at Cummins Cal Pacific. I had part numbers and Ed got the parts pre-ordered.

I had incorrect part numbers and Ed got the correct parts the next day, and got the work completed before the long July 4th holiday weekend (when we were leaving the area).
The El Cajon location of Cummins closed their separate coach building earlier this year due to the economy, but apparently kept the techs and just merged them into the regular truck/bus service side. They were highly knowledgeable and very customer friendly and kept me up to
date. When I was there I was offered to dry camp on the property, but they don't have regular hookups since they left the separate coach care building.
Work was completed thoroughly and I was able to talk to the tech who explained the work performed and recommended future service schedule and maintenance.

Absolutely appalling. Made an appointment and brought in coach. Two weeks later no progress and three deadlines missed. 30 coaches on the lot waiting to be worked on; mechanics' own vehicles in work bays. Was charged $600 for inspection and invoiced $2600 for the work. Wouldn't even look for serial number on the air hose. Complained to Cummings head office.

Ready for coach at time of scheduled appointment. Shop is very clean. Professional and pleasant staff. Coach was left clean with no grease or other visible signs of service.

Had electrical problem in turn signals plus had dyno test on engine. Electrics are fine and the engine now meets mfg specs.

The two techs that worked on my coach were top shelf. They knew their business and were happy to explain what they did and why. The Coach Care unit is now in a brand new and separate facility from the truck shop. On my last visit I found out that they are adding additional service people to meet the demands of a growing RV only service operation.
