  Service Performed:   Leak on the roof of 2005 Jayco Eagle BHS
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Very Poor. We brought our Eagle in for a leak in the roof in May. I told them I traced it to the wall next to the fridge. They told me they checked and could not find a leak, but resealed the area around the vent above the fridge. This was in May. In June we found that the roof was again leaking from the TV antenna. The water leaked from the TV antenna, along the ceiling and down the wall by the fridge. They put new sealer over the old. The day I picked up my Eagle, we had a rain storm after I got home. The TV antenna was again leaking. I contacted Jayco and advised them of the situation and the numerous other problems I had with the service at Steven's. They arranged for me to bring my RV to another service dealer. I used Diamond RV in Ville Platte, LA and Lance was very helpful in getting my RV in and out of the shop in a timely manner. He took photos of the problem area and even showed me what he did to correct the problem.

  Service Performed:   Replaced female end of power cord & electric. outlet going to motorhome. a loose ground wire in the outlet had caused the end & outlet to burn.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   EXCELLENT. I was prepared to buy a new power cord, but STEVENS said "don't waste your $$,we'll replace the end"
we were traveling that day but they worked us in 7 had us on our way in about an hr..
Great service.

  Service Performed:   Generator will not stay running
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Completely incompetent service personnel. I was told that the best electrical service tech. was looking at problem, and I was just beginning a two week vacation. Long story made short, repair would be approx. $1,200.00 and two weeks time and would not guaranty this would fix problem. Took M/H to a local ONAN independent service guy and he fixed the problem for a total of $27.00. Only problem was a solid state full wave rectifier was bad. Had me on the road in less than 30 minutes. True story.

This has been a sore spot with me all this time and I didn't find out about this site until now. Normally I would just move on but I am an electrician by trade and the guy was telling me complete BS and I just wonder how many other folks they tried to pull this on.

I must also say I am in the service business and understand that an honest mistake can be made by a technician but what this guy and the service manager told me is inexcusable.
