Date of Service:
11/13/2019

Work Done on:
Class A - Diesel

Service Performed:
My coach was making a noise and I was
advised by another mechanic who
worked on it before to get it checked
out and not drive it.
I was in Ontario so I drove it to
Royal's to get it checked out.
They did a diagnostic.

Evaluation of Service Performed:
Absolutely worthless. I was told they
did not detect the noise/vibration
that I had described and only a
slight vibration from transmission
when shifting. I made the assumtion
that the vibration must have been
getting transmitted from my toad via
the hitch. I drive it approximately
600 or 700 miles to my home state
where I had a mobile tech come out
and check it out again.
Within 5 minutes he found that the
differential was low on oil. After a
10 minute ride, he diagnosed a
problem with the differential.
Looks like a seal failed and I lost
the lube.
Royal's charged me for 3 hours of
work. No idea what they did but I
seriously doubt they had spent 3
hours on it.
I also doubt that they listened to my
description of the problem and when
it presented itself. If they did,
they would had been able to recreate
it.
Now I am looking at replacing the
entire axle (the differential is not
separate from the axle).
