In June of 2004 may wife and I were notified of a death in the family and in the process of taking the RV from Florida on a 1000 mile trip, a knob on the shower faucet broke and we stopped to purchase a replacement shower faucet from the dealer who sold us the rv, Emerald Coast RV.
Evaluation of Service Performed:
I told the parts sales person exactly what was needed and that the trailer was in the parking lot if he needed to see the problem. He handed me a faucet saying it would be an exact replacement. Upon arrival in Missouri, I found that the faucet was for a sink, not a shower. I purchased another locally and upon returning to Florida two months later, I took the unused new faucet back to Emerald Coast RV and was told that they had a 30 day return limit. After explaining that the error was on the parts dept., and that I had purchased the RV from their dealership, the employee smirked and said that their policy was "no exceptions". While the cost was trivial, the lack of consideration for their oversight and my inconvenience was unforgivable, and I cannot recommend this company (recently purchased by the Affinity Corp.).
