The generator would not stay running. Was told carburetor needed to be replaced, they also said the brushes and coil would probably go out soon and i should think about buying a new generator before doing those repairs. American replaced carb and when I reinstalled the generator and started up, it would still continue to run. On 9/8/201 took the generator to Cummins of OKC and they found the throttle cables installed backwards, seal around intake out-of-place, fuel line needed to be rerouted, no gaskets on flanges of carb. Cummins also said that the fly-wheel had never been removed to inspect the brushes and coil because the fly when had never been tapped for screws. I called Dameon with American RV Outfitters and told him what happened. He said would only refund original labor charges and said would mail it to me. As of today, 9/27/2015 still no refund check.   Evaluation of Service Performed:   It is questionable as to whether the carb even needed to be replaced. However since they could not even put the parts they repaired back property i would never use them for any repairs. Not only did they not repair the generator correctly, when i told them about the issue and they said they were going to send a refund, they never sent it.
