On CAT 02 - 3126 we had a high pressure oil leak on the rail-fuel injection side of the HEUI system. CAT had issued an update not a recall which
now uses a steel tube rather than a hydraulic hose part number is 24007717 TUBE KIT issued per engine serial number. Cost $103.96. Cat shop manual states it can be threaded behind the compressor to install. Kind a of hard to do standing on you head looking through the access hole in the floor. Shop decided to remove the compressor to access. Labor was 8.54 hours at $70.00/hour. Total Cost including tax was $766.84. We had radiator hoses changed out that we furnished, 2 thermostats, and new anti-freeze for a cost of $308.93. Total cost of the job was $1075.77 including total labor time of 11.4 hours, all parts anti-freeze disposal, and taxes. $70,00 shop rate is one of the best shop rates I have seen Unlike most shops they did not have an inconsiderate percentage shop charge for miscellaneous supplies and unknown or unseen items. |

Required ordering and waiting for parts. All work done in a timely fashion. Motorhome was very clean and plugged into electrical during repair. My
wife thought that they may have vacuumed it before we picked it up. WE CONSIDER WORK TO BE FIRST CLASS AND COMPLETE. |
