  Service Performed:   We hired him to do $1300 worth of bodywork on our RV. Gave him a
check for $960 with remainder to be paid upon completion. He had
previously installed awnings with no problem and so I thought this
would go smoothly too. I then checked more reviews and became
alarmed. I drove by to check on his progress. Nothing had been
started but slides were out, TV antennae was up, sewage hooked up.
When I questioned him, he became very irate and started yelling
profanities. And it went downhill from there. We could not reason with
him or even have a conversation the next day either. So we knew
this was not going to work and asked to get our RV and return our
deposit. He refused to give us our RV until he called us because he
was closed for the holidays. He called us later that evening to tell us
our RV was on the street and come and get it or he would have it
towed. When we asked for our deposit back, he said he was
charging us for storage and we were even. This was the worst
experience I've ever had. Beware.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   He might do good work, but we will never know. His uncontrollable
anger made it impossible to even talk to him. He called and texted
profane, insulting and bizarre tirades. I highly advise avoiding him. I
also hope he uses our $960 deposit he kept to get some help.

  Service Performed:   He fixed a broken line, 3 hours $255.00 CASH ONLY. We also ordered a
surge guard he said we need. That was $359.00 CASH. We still had a
leak. Then the hot water heater didn't work. Came back 2 days later
fixed hot water heater. We still had a leak he said it was the pressure in
the tank it would stop in a little while. It didn't. He also knew we had to
leave because the campground was closing due to the hurricane. I
think that trip was $250 CASH. He didn't have his receipt book so I
have no receipt for this trip. WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE SURGE
GUARD we paid for this has been over a month ago. He has excuses for
each time we call to get the surge guard or return the money. Or he
won't answer the phone. He only deals in CASH. We usually don't do
this but he didn't tell us ahead of time he had done the work. He does
talk a good game. He seemed very trustworthy. We were very wrong. I
guess we will have to take a legal route to get the money returned.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Do not use this RV service, he will not fix your motorhome correct. He has
not mailed the product we paid $359.00 CASH for. He only deals in CASH.

  Service Performed:   As of 1-11-2017 work not completed as promised on July 15 2016. He was paid $852.50 and has not completed no returned calls.
7-15-2016-Contacted Kelly's RV Repair to fix camper roof (including painting and sealing) because roof leaks, repair the
slide-out, and complete electrical work.

Work was started and not completed in July of 2016. Mr. Pope requested money for supplies upfront and had written receipts
in the total of $852.50. He has not completed in full ANY of the work he has promised.

As of 1-11-2017 he will not return calls, texts or emails. He insisted that it was the policy of his business to take the
deposit up front for the supplies needed to complete the job.

He was quick to collect the money and start some work but it has been over 6 months and he has not completed his job. I am
asking for $800 back so I can get the repairs done I need. He will not return my money.

He has had several excuses including, personal injury, death, no transportation, weather etc...

  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Kelly did an awesome job. I called him up with an AC issue and explained to him that I was in a time crunch as I was leaving for a month-long trip in less
than 10 days. He had a whole new unit installed for me 2 days later and looks like he saved us from a long hot trip this summer. I would advise you to listen
to the good reviews on this site and ignore the bad ones as Kelly was top-notch in all aspects of handling my issue. Thanks again, Kelly!

  Service Performed:   Work has not been completed! We have been waiting since April, 2016 for Kelly to complete a job we paid $580 for parts. Nothing, and every excuse
under the sun to not complete. We are tired of waiting and want our $580 back to have someone more reliable to complete the job. Would never
recommend Kelly to anyone!

  Service Performed:   I have used Kelly many many times and his knowledge and quality of work is EXCELLENT! He may not be the most punctual but his work is well worth the
wait. Here is a small list on what work he has performed for me to my complete satisfaction.
1. Satellite dish replacement. ( He is a guru with electronics and satellite dishes)
2. Slide sequencer
3. Electronics for inside entertainment system
4. Outside sound system and TV
5. Rebuilt my closet to be able to hold heavier items after my factory set up collapsed.
6. Slide cover springs ( In which I watched him fabricate the actual bracket because it was on back order.
7. LEDs under the bus (Very Cool)
8. LEDs under awning with a remote to change colors/settings
9. LEDs in bay storage areas
10. Custom built HEAVY duty slide tray for my Norco cooler.
11. Commode replacement to an elongated toilet.
12. Carpeting my bay storage areas.
13. Fixing my sleep number mattress.
14. Adding LED fixtures inside the main cabin.
15. Generator oil change.

I would not hesitate to use him again in the future and have referred many of my friends with Diesel pusher motorhomes to Kelly and they all rave about
the quality of work. As I said before he may not be the most punctual but trust me when I say his work is worth the wait.

  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Kelly's vast amount of knowledge continues to impress me. That along with his work ethic makes him the only one I would trust for repairs. In the past he
has done extensive repairs and reconstruction on my trailer. I am qualified to give an accurate account of his work, his honesty, and his accountability. In
these things I rate him "Superior". There will be other things he will be doing for me in the near future and I know with certainty -- Not only will the job be
done - the job will be done Correctly.

next.

This is an update on my original post. We prepaid $570 for parts in January. Kelly said the parts were in March 4 so we agreed to meet March 31 to get the
install. We drove to Melbourne to meet only to be told he was sorry he hadn't even ordered the parts We left with a promise of a cheque. As of May 5 no
cheque but threats.

  Service Performed:   On February 9, 2016 I hired Kelly Pope to replace the awning on my trailer, work was to be done prior to a trip we were taking on March 11th, I contacted
him again on February 23rd, he assured me that he would have it done on time, delayed our trip because he again promised that it would be done, said he
forgot about us, contacted him on March 13, 14, had to leave on our trip without awning, contacted him, ask him for my money back, or awning, I offered
to pick it up awning and let someone else install it, but was told it was at a hub in Melbourne and he would pick it up on his way and have it on by
Wednesday since we were leaving on Thursday, again another no-show, no call or anything, I contacted him again on March 28th and ask him for an
estimated time for installation of our awning or a refund, No Response, contacted him again on March 31st and gave him 15 days to resolve this either
with the awning or cash refund or I would take to Facebook, Channel Six news, better business bureau, and any other social media to get results, Kelly
contacted me on Saturday and ask me to meet him to get my cash, waited no call where to meet, so I contacted him once again and offered to meet him,
was told he was looking at the wrong day on the calendar and he would bring it to my house at 11 o'clock, another no-show, so at 11:30 I text him that I
would meet him anywhere, no response. So I don't have any hopes of getting my money back or my awning. Lesson learned never give money up front.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   No work done, but would never recommend Kelly Pope for any kind of RV repairs, he is a con man, taking money and not doing work.

  Service Performed:   Several jobs including replacing spring in patio awning, tightening driver size awning, installing Sirius radio, install flat
screen TV in bedroom, installing kitchen faucet. Other work included "no charge for the fuel gauge" which is good since it
still doesn't work, "fixing" the arm on our front door, ordering 3 bay latches.

Update 4/5/2016:

In addition to the other work mentioned, the thermostat he was supposed to replaced didn't work and never did fix it as
promised.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Most of the work done was done satisfactorily although everything seemed to take longer than Kelly expected. The "other work", well, the fuel gauge still
doesn't work, the arm rivet on our front door having been hammered into oblivion needed replacement, and the 3 bay latches were never received by us.
Hubby felt sorry for Kelly and I did, too, until I read the rip-off report from August 2013 to May 2014 by a military man, with a very similar history of
communication with Kelly. "Heart attack", "no response", "promises not kept" and in this case, we never received our latches NOR did we ever receive our
refund. The work was done in November 2015. It's March 1st but I don't expect to receive either our money or our latches. Unfortunately the lack of
response AFTER the work regarding the latches, deceit and repeat of excuse of heart attack, true or not, it sounds suspicious. On 12/6, he texted that
sorry he had been out-of-town for a few days, no more response until 1/7/16 stating he was sorry that he had been in the hospital with a heart attack.
Same day he said he HAD received the latches, but his "issues" happened 3 days after our job in mid-November. After that, my husband took over trying to
communicate and get our latches or refund. After sending the shipping address to him several times, at some point, he said he sent the latches, priority
mail, but could not come up with the tracking number and of course, we never saw the latches. His "wife" got involved in the conversation, but the same
stall, promises not kept and I hope it's not happening to many others. I guess the taking payment for parts to be ordered and not installed or sent is just
another revenue stream. I'm giving him a "fair" rating because most of the work he did has been satisfactory, but the run-around about the latches was
not. This is my own opinion, not my husband's, although his text exchange with my husband was quite lively with colorful language. So, once Kelly reads
this, I will probably get some scathing retort, I don't care. We will not ever call him again and we certainly will let our RV peeps and campgrounds in the
area know of our experience.

Update 4/5/2016:

Shortly after Kelly read my original review, I received a threatening text message, followed by another about 3 weeks later. I didn't respond because I think
he's not worth worrying about and took no action on so i found out last night from one of Kelly's other victims, that he has been arrested Feb 19th and on
or about Mar 31st on an other charge. This is a pattern of behavior, so I am changing my rating to poor. I've subsequently heard that others have been on
the receiving end of his vitriolic language and behavior.The thing is he's very likeable and could be awesome if he only lived up to his own hype, but I think
his past finally caught up with him. I hope he gets help.

  Service Performed:   Removed and replaced flooring the length of the living space, which had been severely damaged by water. Located source of water's entrance and made
repairs. Re engineered black water tank to increase efficiency. Replaced electrical converter.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Considering the magnitude of this job it was completed in record time. The price was not only fair, on certain things it was a bit below what others might
have charged. The finished job shows it was done by a man who takes pride in his work, and the trailer is far better than when it left the factory. Wow!! I am
pleased!

diagnosed and repaired the refrigerator in time for us to take our trip. He explained everything he did and repaired as promised at the price quoted. He
also took time to instruct me on the systems in the RV at no cost. I highly recommend Kelly for any service/repair needed on your RV.

  Evaluation of Service Performed:   A superior job was done on my travel trailer. Considering the amount of work done I feel it was done quickly. He was most helpful with my warranty for the
air conditioner. Had he not been so persistent I fear I would have never received the amount owed me. I have complete confidence in Kelly, and would never
consider having anyone else work on my trailer. He is honest, highly skilled, and takes a great deal of pride in his work. That is a winning combination.

  Service Performed:   Diagnose and repair air ride system malfunction, diagnose and repair Norcold refrigerator water leak/defrosting problems, repair malfunctioning louvers on
large kitchen vent fan, replace water heater electric heating element.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Work was done on site, he arrived on time, was quick, efficient, and very knowledgable. He explained all problems and repairs thoroughly. We had 3 other
service centers tell us nothing was wrong with fridge, despite excessive freezing up of fins and leaking water all over the floor when manually defrosting it.
He found fridge is automatic defrost type, should drain water to outside, diagnosed a cut drainage line and need for new auto-defrost sensor, among other
things that no one ever diagnosed before in 4 years of trying to get this fixed. I highly recommend Kelly. For once I believe the jobs have been done
correctly.

  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Kelly arrived promptly when he said he would. Checked the A/C unit which had failed. Contacted my extended warranty and obtained approval for
replacement. Ordered the new A/C unit and within 3 days had it on his truck and arrived to put it on. After installation, cleaned up everything as though he
was never there. A/C works well. Excellent service and great communication.

  Service Performed:   Replaced Norcold refrigerator - replaced toilet - fixed bathroom fan - installed satellite dish (not covered by warranty
agreement) - installed tv antenna in
bedroom (not covered by warranty agreement) - sealed roof leaks. All this work was done over a period of several weeks.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Kelly responded to all our repair calls, came out on weekends and his work was well done. Kelly was given our extended warranty information and he told
us he would handle all the paperwork with them. When he contacted the warranty company there was an issue with the mileage on our rig vs the mileage
on our agreement. We resolved this issue by having the dealer notify the warranty company they had entered the incorrect mileage on the agreement,
necessary paperwork faxed to company. When all the work had been completed an invoice was submitted by Kelly. The warranty company then stated
that only work that had been pre-approved, and by a 'brick and mortar' company could they reimburse us for the work done. Kelly stated he got his lawyer
involved with this and sent all the necessary paperwork to the warranty company showing that he had a 'brick and mortar' business. I have numerous text
messages from Kelly regarding his contacting the warranty company, however, they state they have never received any paperwork from him. I asked Kelly
to provide me with a name, or names, and a fax number of who he dealt with at the warranty company. He has never responded to my requests. None of
the work done by Kelly was ever pre-approved. We are out a little more than $4000 for the repairs etc done on our motorhome. All our parts were paid
for up front. It is strongly suggested that should you have a warranty agreement and decide to use Kelly's RV service that you are included in the phone
call(s) to the warranty company to ensure that the work is covered and pre-approved before you give him any money. The long and short of it, is we were
too trustworthy and believed in him and that he knew what he was doing. In his words- he did this all the time. Subsequently we have found out that we
had been overcharged for some of the parts.

You bought a used motorhome with several issues from a local dealer that you did not want to return to for service.You had me come and check out the
coach. There were several issues that needed repair. You said that you had an extended warranty that didn't come in to effect for thirty days. Most repairs
were serious AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. You said that you would deal with the warranty company after it came in to effect and for me to go ahead with
repairs. Then your company gave you an excuse that you believe. They know you had the work done already and it's their way out and they used it. Now its
my fault. You should really tell the entire story when you tell it. You got caught not waiting on the warranty and you paid for it. You were not over charged
for anything. I made more than ten trips to you for free and no charge for anything for some absolutely ridiculous repairs. Even coming to get you started
on multiple occasions when you would go leave the lights on all day in a parking lot Every time you turned the TV on you got confused and I came out for
free. Now this. You are the one that can't be trusted. You are not representing the truth and I can't help that. Sometimes people just can't accept the fact
that some things are just their fault.

  Evaluation of Service Performed:   We recently had work done to our RV by Kelly’s RV Repair. He’d been highly recommended to us by a neighbor who told us that Kelly was honest and
very good. Our A/C went down and we needed to get it repaired ASAP. Kelly came over and after extensive inspection of our A/C unit, he advised he
would contact the people at Coleman to discuss what was going on with the A/C as it would cut out and than work again periodically. The tech at
Coleman didn’t have an answer. After then discussing the issue with Kelly, it was agreed upon how the A/C problem would be resolved. Kelly told us
he would be fair, but we had no idea how fair he would be. We have an A/C that runs now and Kelly gave us such a great price that we were floored.
He Showed up when he said he would and he took care of the problem, just like he said he would. He even called us the next day to find out how the
A/C was working. Almost no one does that. His kindness and compassion have helped us to make up our minds that we’ll not use anyone else. Thank
you Kelly. After being used to dealing with dishonesty and a lack of integrity in this day and age, Kelly’s RV Repair is a breath of fresh air. I would
highly recommend Kelly’s RV Repair.

  Service Performed:   Motor on main awning needed replaced, fridge hose leaking due to having been frozen in cold weather, AC not working properly. Kelly not only
completed all work in a timely and professional manner but he also spoke with us on the A/C for free and we were able to save a lot of money on it with
a simple fix. Kelly handled all paperwork with our warranty company and even found a mistake on our warranty companies part and got us another
check sent out by our warranty company!
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   I personally would not use anyone else in this area! We have been staying at the Patrick Air Force base and had a couple of options when getting a
service company out here to work on our RV. Kelly was the only one who was very timely, both professional and personable and did not attempt in any
way to cheat us! We would highly recommend Kelly's RV Service to anyone! Thank you Kelly!

  Service Performed:   Slide room leak repairs -- slide toppers and seals. I wanted to do a follow-up after we had some rain to determine if the repairs were effective. We
have had some torrential rains and come through it all without a drop of water in our coach.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Kelly did a great job without charging us an arm and a leg. He was in the area on a different job and stopped by to make sure I was satisfied with the
work. Also -- just a little story to show you what kind of guy he is -- after finishing the toppers and seals (a hard day's work) I mentioned a leak in the
doorway and he immediately got the ladder back off his van and inspected the TV antenna and resealed it with Dicor at no charge. Great RV guy and
even better person!!

  Evaluation of Service Performed:   We had no 12 volt, Kelly came out within two hours of calling him. He diagnosed the problem, went to get the part and installed it. The charge was
very reasonable. He also answered any questions we had on other issues and gave advice. Would definitely recommend him. He said he works with
service plans but the charge was less than our deductible so we didn't need to do this.

  Service Performed:   Promised repairs were not conducted. A refund of prepaid funds was requested and agreed to by both parties. Seven
months have passed and no
refund.

On Aug 16 2013 my right side slide on my 2002 Travel Supreme Express 5th wheel trailer would not retract into the
trailer. I was advised by the
Patrick AFB personnel to call Kelly's RV Repair. Kelly showed up and determined my slide motor was amping out and
would soon fail. I paid the total
amount on my USAA MasterCard. Kelly said I didn't know him but he was an honest guy and could be trusted. I advised
Kelly that I was moving back to
Orlando FL and the repairs would need to be done there No Later Then Aug 24 because I had to be on my way back to Ft
Hood TX, and sign in off of
leave (I was on active duty at that time) Kelly said he picked up parts in Orlando and that was not a problem. On Aug 21
I received a text saying Kelly
had had a heart attack and would not be able to conduct the repairs. We agreed on a full refund minus a service fee of
$75.00 total refund of $950.00.
Sep 17 Kelly says he uses the Square App and it takes 30 days for refunds. Nov 15 he is still trying to get in touch with a
human at Square. Nov 16 he
started a refund to my card again. Nov 19 still nothing. Dec 20, am told refund is processed and I need to check with my
bank. Dec 20, checked every
statement and contacted my bank customer service. No record of a refund. Dec 26, agree to meet in Orlando FL so Kelly
can give me a cash refund.
Kelly does not show up. Dec 30, try again to meet up with Kelly in Orlando. Kelly does not show up. Jan 3 2014, Kelly
says he is close to having the
cash, expect to meet Kelly the next day. Kelly does not show up. Jan 25, ask Kelly if he will have the money before I have
to leave Orlando on Feb 4.
Jan 30, suggest to Kelly he send a check for what he can and then $100 a month until fully paid back. He agrees, but has
not sent a single check to the
address I gave him. Sent Kelly an e-mail but received no reply. Text Kelly about e-mail received no reply. Tried to get a
refund through my credit card,
but I trusted Kelly for too long and the required time to challenge a charge had been exceeded, so I received no help
from them. All my efforts to help
Kelly help me get my refund have failed. I believe Kelly is just telling me what he thinks I want to hear and then doing
nothing. I believe he may not
have had heart attack at all, but can not confirm. I can no longer trust that Kelly will ever pay me back the money he
owes me.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   I have every text message sent to and receive from Kelly if needed. I no longer believe Kelly has any intention of paying me back regardless of my efforts
to work with him in every way. Final note; none of the repairs Kelly advised needed to be completed have been done. The motor started working in
Orlando and I've had it checked by other maintenance personnel since. No issues can be found and they have not recommended anything be replaced.
Due to this, I think Kelly should forfeit the service charge and I should receive a full refund of the money paid. I feel cheated by this individual who has
essentially stolen $1026.95 from me.

  Service Performed:   The techincian came to my site because my power landing gear was stuck down once arriving in Florida. He quickly concluded that the cause was a
bad motor for my Atwood system. We left for about an hour, and returned with the correct motor for my repair. He really knows his stuff; he was
finished in half hour.

  Service Performed:   I have a Dometic awning on my rig that has been a problem since about 6 months after buying my coach. This awning is different because it is not only a power awning, but it also has a sun shade that drops down electronically also. It malfunctioned completely while we were in the Keys last month, and a repairman there managed to get it closed so we could drive home. I took it apart once back home, and realized that the shop down south had cut out all of the wiring that controls the awning and the shade. I knew then that I was in over my head and ability.

I called Kellys RV service because obviously I couldn't drive it to a repair shop partially disassembled and hanging on the coach. He agreed with me that someone had removed too many parts to easily repair it. Instead he installed a new unit that does not have that silly shade that kept giving me problems. I wish someone could have disabled it a year ago before it ruined the rest of the awning. My new WeatherPro works flawlessly.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   I am very satisfied. Kelly did a good job and he didn't mind coming out after hours when I am available.

  Service Performed:   We were vacationing at Melbourne Beach last weekend, and our air conditioning stopped working on a Saturday. I contacted one of the local RV dealerships, and they were going to charge me $150.00 just to come out and look at it. In addition, they told me that I would have to wait until Wednesday before they would have a chance to get to my repair. I flagged down a repair van that I saw in the park, and he told me that my compressor had failed. He quoted me $1025.00 to replace the unit on Monday. I decided to get a second opinion, so I called one of the local mobile repair services listed on Craig's list; I assumed I didn't have anything to lose by getting a second opinion. To my surprise, after I explained my wife's health issues, Kelly was willing to come out on a Saturday after finishing up an activity with his family. In less than an hour, my air conditioning was running fine. Apparently all that was wrong was a capacitor that runs the compressor. I was relieved to pay so little and be able to enjoy the rest of our trip. It is good to know that good, honest people still exist out there.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   It's Monday, and my coach is still cooling great. He is extremely knowledgeable and a true professional.

As of August 1, 2012, numerous calls were made. He will either not answer the call or gives a different excuse. He ripped us off for over $1,000.00. He has been put off limits to a very popular and large RV Storage Facility in the Melbourne, Florida area, due to similar rip-off and bad review stories. Another reviewer on this site rated this repair service as PREDATORY. Do not use thie repair man.

  Service Performed:   Diagnose inverter/charger problem and replace. While traveling the inverter charger stopped working, leaving me without any 12V power or interior 110V power. A rather desperate condition when traveling. Nearby service shops could not even look at problem for several days, but recommended this service which responded the same day called.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Work was completed, but repair person lied to me about working with my extended warranty plan. He simply did not talk with them after our joint, first call. As a result, I was unable to collect a large portion of what would have otherwise been collected. I also later found out I was significantly overcharged for the work performed. I WOULD RATE THIS SERVICE AS "PREDATORY".
