Work Done on:
Class A - Diesel

Service Performed:
Check transmission, Allison MD3060, for over heating and fluid discharge.

Evaluation of Service Performed:
They seemed to be extremely busy, but said they try to get everyone in for evaluation within two hours, our rig was in two and a half hours later. Three
hours after that the service manager told us that the transmission fluid discharge problem was fixed. He advised us that the radiator on the
transmission cooler needed some work but, as it was late in the day, he couldn't get to it until the next day, and it would take two days to complete
the work. When I asked if he thought we could make it home without the work he asked a lot of questions as to route, distance, etc and told us it
would probably be OK, and if not, we would be able to make it to another service center for the work. We were back out the door six hours after we
pulled in. The transmission worked perfectly for the remainder of the trip. Considering how busy they were I couldn't be happier with the service they
provided.
The labor rates were clearly posted in the office, $110 for trucks, $130 for motorhomes. The office told us that it was OK to stay in the RV while
parked in their lot. Once it's inside the shop, of course, you have to motel it, and they have an extensive list of motels to choose from. All of the staff
we talked to were friendly and accommodating.

Electronic diagnosis of "No Start" on CAT3126

Evaluation of Service Performed:
Over 2 days we received about 1-1/2 hrs of diagnosis by 2 techs. We were charged for about 3 hrs. We got status reports only when we pressed for them. Lack of custoemr service: no one would estimate when we might get back on the road. One excuse after another. We chose to complete the repairs elsewhere. Will not go back.
