I had new glass shipped to Vermont for repair hit the shop was shocked to discover our window frame had rusted out in several spots and the repair could not be done. We were heading to North Carolina so my wife found Mark's shop and I called him he said he seen this before on motorhomes and done several frame replacement. He had to cut out the old frame and fabricate a new from scratch. He had two of his guys working for two weeks to get this done.   Evaluation of Service Performed:   Top notch workmanship. Since this was the worst case of frame rust he a had seen. I had some other work done which also was great. I highly recommend Washburn Engineering if you are in the Charlotte or Hendersonville area of North Carolina. For the amount of work done price was very fair. If we this done in New Jersey it would have been double.   Value of Service:   Excellent   Quality of Service:   Excellent       Date of Service:   11/10/2011   Company Contact:   Mark Washburn   Work Done on:   5th Wheel Trailer   Service Performed:   On a recent trip, one of our electric slide-outs would not retract on one end. By running the slide motor and pushing on the "broke end," we managed to get it closed and limped back home. We have another trip shortly and were anxious to get it fixed as soon as possible. I searched the internet and found several shops in our area but Washburn Engineering was the only shop who could see us on short notice. We dropped our rig off at their shop on Monday. Mark and crew removed the belly panels and insulation, then replaced a bolt that had "fell out" of the slide mechanism. The slide had to be readjusted. They also checked other bolts in similar locations on the other slides. Our rig was at their shop for a total of 3 days.   Evaluation of Service Performed:   I am very pleased. There is no evidence that any work was done and the slide works as good or better than new. That slide was a little off in adjustment before but is perfect now. Some RV repair shops would have cut the plastic belly cover to gain access to the slides but Mark and crew removed and replaced the covering just like it came from the factory. The price was, I believe very reasonable. Mark says he checked the roof caulk as courtesy. I cannot abide shops that want to me to leave my rig on their lot for weeks while they try to "work me in" then do poor, overpriced repairs.
