Got an estimate to install a new awning and roller was told it was a 2 hour job told him my wife and I removed the old awning in less then 20 minutes, he then said it would be 1.5 hours this was on the 18th of August. I told him we would be going camping September and was promised that he would be able to have it by August 31at finely arrived by September 8th.
Brought the trailer in and watched the work being done took 2 men 55 minutes but only because they fiddled with one of the bolts that wouldn't go through the end of the awning arm and the roller for 10 minutes, went to pay the bill and told them it took less then 1 hour and that I should not have to pay for 1.5 and was told the quote was for 1.5 so pay up by a very rude lady. Anyway why 2 men needed to install the arms to the roller when one man could have done it then 2 men 10 minutes to attach the awning to the trailer. |
