| Service Performed: | After some severe wind, while closing the 17' slide on our 06' Bounder 35E the front bracket holding the slide topper separated from the slide sidewall. All three rivets holding the bracket to the sidewall just snapped. In that condition we could not extend the slide back out. I was able to secure it for driving with some clothesline. | ||
| Evaluation of Service Performed: | I called Maddox a day ahead to see if they could handle this kind of work and was told that they would have to see it to be sure, but that they did do work on a lot of slides. Within minutes of arriving, Chris a service tech was working on it. He replaced the three rivets, added a couple of screws and with the help of a co-worker they adjusted the tension. We were on our way in less than an hour and a half. They are located directly across the street from Cabela's World Headquarters (Cabela's has a campground). The labor rate was $75 an hour. We could not have been happier with them. | ||
