Leaking slide. They responded to my location and fixed a leak under the slide topper. 3 people responded about 90 minutes
from their shop. Work was excellent and price was very reasonable! |

| Service Performed: | Repaired under-surface of rear slide-out on Itasca Meridian. The underside aluminum surface was caught and torn by a failed slide-out bearing pad. Required the entire slide-out to be jacked, backed out and supported to access the bearing mount plate and the underside. Installed and shimmed new slide-out bearing pads, parts pre-ordered and provided by owner, and filled gaps and applied new flashing to underside of slide-out. Also required adapting the repairs to a poorly installed slide-out bearing support, which caused the failure of the bearing pad and the resulting torn underside. | ||
| Evaluation of Service Performed: | This was definitely a NON-STANDARD REPAIR situation which was completed within 1 day, out in the open, at their shop location. The lead technician Steve was receptive and responsive to the owner's diagnostics and recommendations on how to make the repairs. Fix-It RV coordinated with Extended Warranty once pre-claim procedure was done by owner. We were charged only our $200 deductible under the Extended Warranty. Total bill, for almost a full days labor, was under $400 and probably should have been a lot more, but owner did much of the prep disassembly and reassembly and assisted with the repair. | ||
