Installation of hardware, and wiring were done correctly. Service representative did not tell us that work was running behind schedule so, we ended showing
up with our coach and having to wait until the toad was ready.

I provided specific written instructions and pointed out the repair items on the motor home with the service writer. They were:
1. Repair the roof to sidewall caulking with Winnebago approved caulking.
2. Warranty repair of the A&E Dometic awning
3. Warranty replacement of the control panel on HWH jacks.
4. Install one window I provided

This was the absolute worst service experience I have encountered. Instead of repairing the sidewall to roof caulking, their service technician painted rubber roof coating on the fiberglass top of my coach. This roof coating was sloppily painted over most of the good self-leveling caulk on the top of the roof and was also on my
shower skylight, fantastic vents and TV antennae. The sidewall to roof seam was left untouched.
They also misdiagnosed the warranty repair on my awning by replacing the control panel when the awning motor was defective. After installing the HWH jack control panel, they could not apply the proper settings to make the jacks operate.
Nolans never once took responsibility for their errors. They never said they were sorry and instead, said that since I did not purchase my motor home from Nolans I should not expect to receive good service from them. I will never return there for service.

Replace leaking dashboard heater core. minor electrical repairs.
|

|
Evaluation of Service Performed:
|
The heater core took less than the estimated time, and substantially less than reported by another individual who had the same job done at another dealer. No subsequent problems - excellent. The minor electrical tasks were poorly executed and incomplete, but they cheerfully corrected the problems when I pointed them out.

Replacement of shattered driver side window.

Extremely poor quality work. Claimed the cost was directly related to having to remove the dashboard(+3 hours)in order to remove the lower window frame screws. They used an offset screwdriver to remove the screws without having to remove the dashboard(still charged the $$$ for it). In the process, they tore holes in the dashboard by using the offset screwdriver. There was also adhesive on the "wrong-side/inside) of the window frame.
I've always had pride in ownership, but the lack of caring on their part, really left me pretty pissed at their service department.
Also, the right rear outside tire suffered some curb-type scuffing damage. I always perform a walk around prior/post driving. I claim the tire was damaged while in their posession...they denied it.
I'll drive long and hard to find a service center before I take any of my rigs back to Nolan's.
