| Service Performed: | Engine was running rough and had low power. Engine diagnosis was done and computer software upgrades performed that solved some of the problem. They tested the fuel pressure regulator and found defective and replaced it. They also found that there was an air leak on the clean side of the air filter causing the indicator to not show the air filter needed replacement. The problem was corrected and filter replaced. After reviewing the fuel filters, suggested replacing the fuel/water separator with a CAT part (screw on replacement of the Fleetguard) and use of a larger CAT fuel filter. These were both done. | ||
| Evaluation of Service Performed: | The work was done over the course of three days while allowing us to stay in the unit on their lot. They also allowed us to plug into their electricity (20amp but better than nothing). They were professional, thorough and caring of our situation. After the work was done, we still have a problem but their recommendation is to have the transmission evaluated and if it had not been a holiday weekend, would have arranged an appointment. We choose to drive home (Dallas) and have it done there. | ||
