  Date of Service:   7/9/2018
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   Will-call, same day service in the form of a Drive Axle Hub Seal
Repair/Replacement. We were transiting through SLC en route from Moab
to Yellowstone when we encountered a rear drive axle hub seal leak.
Contacted Spartan Motors Chassis for warranty repair wherein they first
referred to a Super-Ford Dealer in SLC (Spartan authorized service center)
who advised us of a minimum 2-month appointment wait period; called
back to Spartan and was referred to contact Smith Power Products, also in
Salt Lake City.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Smith Power Products, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT accepted our will-call, ad-
hoc service request on the same day of calling in and had us in and out in
2-hours time. Smith Power Products Inc maintains a
"clean shop" practice therefore protecting your RV against collateral
damage or debris.

  Date of Service:   6/20/2016
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   We took our RV to this place to have
the differential replaced caused by S
cam rusted and froze up. They
replaced the differential. In the process
they scratched the exterior RV paint
and damaged the rims. They did
discount the repair for the damage. But
the driver side rear air brakes weren't
put together correctly. The slack
adjuster fell off and broke and damaged
the internals on the drums and S cam
shaft. Thus happened a month later.
Clips were not installed correctly. So
Freightliner has had to fix them correctly.
Beware very aware of this place. If you
ask them to plug in your RV to keep the
house batteries charged make sure you
check. Mine were destroyed because
for 2 weeks they didn't plug them in
after they said they did. They went
below 9 volts and ruined the 4 6 volt
Trojans!
Evaluation of Service Performed:   No follow thru, delay after delay.
Communication only when I called.
More care is needed to take care of
customer property!

Service Performed:   I was referred to Smith by Freightliner in Phoenix to troubleshoot a problem with an Allison transmission failing to up-shift when the engine brake was applied. After a 5 minute conversation with the technician, he correctly diagnosed the problem as a parameter setting, and accurately estimated both the time and cost to correct the problem.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Superb service! The work was completed when promised and at close to the estimated cost. In addition, 6 software upgrades were also installed. The service writers were also extremely very helpful, generating an account for me to access the Internet and allowing me to overnight at the facility.
