  Service Performed:   Purchased 2008 Keystone 28' travel trailer new. As there were some minor issues when we went to pick it up we had to return it for warranty work in September of 2007. They had it for several weeks before it was done. No cost, but we could not use it either.

Memorial Day weekend 2008 we planned a trip to northern Wisconsin. I spent about 2 weeks getting it ready and the night before we were to leave I was checking tire pressures and noticed that the tires were dry rotting and cracked very badly. As I've had trouble 2 weeks earlier trying to get a damaged table replaced, I did not call Crystal Valley because I knew there was no way they would have taken care of it that day. I called a service station where I live the next AM. I had the tire delivered and mounted and we were on our way. While on the maiden voyage we had trouble with a GFCI which I replaced while we were camping, trouble with the black and grey water tank valves, trouble dumping the tanks and a couple other minor problems. I called the facility on the way home and they said to bring it in late next week and they would see what they could do.

I managed to get it back 2 days before the next trip. However, there are still issues. The tires to date have not been replaced. I was told by the service manager that our tires were on the way but got lost coming from the supplier. "You will get them as soon as they come in. A phone call 2 weeks later to the store warranty administrator tells me there is a problem getting them replaced as they are having trouble reading the DOT numbers on the pictures that were sent to the supplier. So I have taken more pictures and e-mailed them to the store.
I was not reimbursed for the tire I replaced, I was not reimbursed for the GFCI I replaced and I was told by members of the service department (in a rude manner) that they don't have enough personnel to keep up. Not my problem I stated.

They did however get the rest of the of the problems resolved but only after a call to the Corporate VP.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Found grey and black water tank valves found to be crushed by U bolt at factory. Valves repaired but they did not test. I found (on the next trip) the labels were wrong on the tanks. Tires still not replaced. Still not reimbursed for tire or GFCI.

  Work Done on:   Class A - Gasoline
  Service Performed:   Diagnose brake problem.
Replace house batteries & oil change.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! After waiting 2 weeks for appointment, I was informed they could not repair brakes,
they had been without a technician for 8 MONTHS!

Yet the labor rate is $110 per hour for non certified tech?

Quoted $300 for house battery replacement, bill was $600,

I was also charged $54.00 (1/2 hour labor) to check the tire pressure,

The service writers were not helpful, it took 3 days and 6 phone calls & messages to even get a call back as to the status of the repair.

Save your time, sanity and money

  Work Done on:   5th Wheel Trailer
  Service Performed:   We purchased a Everest 5th wheel trailer from Crystal Valley and had them order and install a SuperGlide hitch in our truck. This was a new hitch for Crystal Valley but they said they would do it. Well when ordering the hitch they did not know to order the caption plate to be installed on the king pin. Heaven only knows how we got it home. When we were to leave on our first trip on 3/6 we got no further than the end of the block. The trailer banged and clanged felt like it would come through the cab. It was obvious that we would not be going on our trip to Florida that day. We called the hitch company and they said we needed the capture plate and to not try to tow it again without it. We called Crystal Valley and they sent their tow truck out that afternoon (43 miles) and towed it back to their store. They ordered the needed part to arrive overnight and installed it immediately when it arrived. They also treated us to lunch as we waited.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Crystal Valley did a wonderful job in responding to this problem and did everything they could to get us on the road fast. The tech spent 3 hrs to make sure everything was right. He bolted and welded the capture plate to the king pin. That baby was not going to fail. They made sure before we left the shop that we could operate the hitch correctly and would not have any problems. I would greatly recommend the people at Crystal Valley for their service and commitment to the customer.

  Service Performed:   Replace awning over door, and wind sensor control for patio awning.
  Evaluation of Service Performed:   Just OK. Would not honor extended service contract! Was charged $285.00 over what service contract paid. Parts were replaced at no charge by manufacturer. Was told if RV was bought at Crystal Valley there would be no charge.
