  Date of Service:   1/11/2018
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   Engine Lube, Fuel Filters, Generator Lube
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Work done was ok, took 7 hours to do what Speedco took 1.5 hours to do. But the issue was with estimate of other repairs.
Told we needed a left tie rod, when I looked underneath myself, I needed both sides, right side was way worse than the left
side. Brought it somewhere else for that work.

  Date of Service:   1/11/2017
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   PM oil, filter, fuel filter and water separator. Generator oil and filters. Full chassis inspection.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   I left a prior review, but I am now updating what I found today. They never checked the power steering fluid. I felt
something was wrong as it started feeling a bit choppy at the ends of wheel full turns. I checked the dip stick. No fluid on
it at the cold or hot marks. Took off the cover and I could see the filter in there, with almost no oil in the reservoir. I
bought a new filter, installed it and put in 2 Gallons of the oil it takes. (not quarts) I would not take any vehicle to
these folks. Seems most of the Freightliner dealers in the South West are owned by Velocity Group. Beware!

  Date of Service:   10/8/2014
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   I had the oil/filter changed plus a 50 point inspection to the coach. This service took approximately 3 hours to complete. The service representative advised
they do not take appointments, first come, first served. She advised to get there early. They open at 7am.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   I felt the work was performed satisfactorily within the scheduled time. I was quoted a price of $299.00, the actual cost was $347.00, excess amount for
taxes, shop materials. They found a couple of items for me to address.

  Date of Service:   4/13/2012
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   I needed to replace the vehicle data computer in my motorhome which is built on a Freightliner chassis so I called San Diego Freightliner and gave them my chassis Vin number and was told that they had one in stock and would put it on the shelf. Two days later I loaded the grandkids and my family and dog in the car and drove 45 miles from Oceanside to Miramar only to find out that their computer was wrong and they really didn't have one for me and had neglected to call and let me know that. I had them order one and they told me that it would be in the next AM. Waited till 11:00 before calling them and got "Oh Yea,that got here about 9:00 this morning". Got in the car and made another 45 mile drive down there and the bill was about $30 more than quoted as they were charging me for the overnight freight. I made TWO round trips of 90 miles each with gas at over $4.25 a gallon and they finally said they would back out the freight.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Not really a good reflection on the normal wonderful service you get from Freightliner. The folks at the parts counter just really didn't seem to really give a darn whether they ever saw me again since I was from out of town.

  Date of Service:   12/3/2009
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   Took motorhome in for warranty work on turn signal not working and cruise control not working. I was told the parts would not be available until Jan. 31, 2010. I was told I would have to pay $23.00 shipping in order to get the parts delivered. After the turn signal was replaced I was told I had to pay the labor charge for troubleshooting the cruise control since they could find no problem with the cruise control. The cruise control switch is located on the turn signal. I called Freightliner customer service they were nice and got the people at the shop straight on what warranty work means and I finally got my coach back 12/23/09. The driver's seat and curtains were dirty where a tech (with dirty clothes) had sat in the seat and rubbed against the curtains.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   This is the absolutely beyond a doubt the worst place I have ever done business with. If I ever need chassis work done at Freightliner I will drive to Chino, approximately 120 miles away.
